RECEPTION ANALYSIS OF SUARA DIFABEL MANDIRI
JOMBANG ON THE DISABILITY COMEDY PROGRAM
CLASH OF MUTANTS

Penelitian ini membahas tentang penerimaan pesan yang
ditransmisikan dalam program komedi disabilitas Clash of Mutants. Informan dalam penelitian ini berasal dari kalangan disabilitas dan anggota lembaga swadaya masyarakat Suara Difabel Mandiri Jombang. Metode analisis resepsi dipilih untuk mendeskripsikan posisi penerimaan informan. Secara umum, semua informan menerima pesan-pesan yang ditransmisikan melalui tayangan ini, namun informan yang berada dalam kategori negosiasi memiliki beberapa poin tambahan atau kritik terhadap program Clash of Mutants. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dua kategori penerimaan pesan, yaitu (1) dominan, di mana dua informan memiliki dua poin penerimaan, dan (2) negosiasi, di mana lima informan memiliki enam poin penerimaan.

This study discusses the reception of messages transmitted in the disability comedy program Clash of Mutants. The informants in this research are individuals with disabilities and members of the non-governmental organization Suara Difabel Mandiri Jombang. The reception analysis method was chosen to describe
the positions of the informants' reception. In general, all
informants accepted the messages conveyed through the program. However, those categorized under the negotiated reading expressed additional points or criticisms regarding Clash of Mutants. The findings of this study reveal two categories of message reception: (1) dominant, in which two informants identified two points of acceptance, and (2) negotiated, in which five informants identified six points of acceptance.
