PENERAPAN MEDIA POP UP BOOK TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN
GERAK DASAR LOKOMOTOR
APPLICATION OF POP UP BOOK MEDIA TOWARDS SKILLSĀ
BASIC LOCOMOTOR MOVEMENTS
Penerapan media pembelajaran menjadi pilihan dalam mengembangkan
proses belajar yang dirasa lebih efektif. Media merupakan wadah yang berfungsi
sebagai sumber belajar peserta didik di lingkungan sekolah yang bisa
meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Penerapan media juga disamakan dengan
kebutuhan peserta didik. Media pop up book gerak dasar lokomotor adalah contoh
produk yang bisa digunakan di Sekolah Dasar. Kelebihan media pop up book bisa
mengubah kertas yang datar menjadi kertas tiga dimensi dengan materi
pembelajaran yang diubah menjadi lebih indah dan menarik hati (Farid
Ahmadiya et al. 2018). Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif
dengan pendekatan pra eksperimen. Desain penelitian menggunakan one group
pretest-postest design menggunakan purposive sampling. Populasi secara
keseluruhan terhitung 83 peserta didik dan sampel terhitung 28 peserta didik
kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan tes keterampilan gerak dasar lokomotor
seperti berjalan, sprint dan melompat yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui
keterampilan gerak dasar peserta didik. Data yang dikumpulkan akan diuji
normalitas dan dihitung peningkatan presentase keberhasilan media pop up book
gerak dasar lokomotor. Kesimpulan penerapan media pop up book mampu
meningkatkan keterampilan gerak dasar lokomotor peserta didik dengan
presentase 33,7% di Sekolah Dasar.
The application of learning media is an option in developing a learning process
that is felt to be more effective. Media is a forum that functions as a learning
resource for students in the school environment which can improve the quality of
learning in schools. The application of media is also equated with the needs of
students. The pop up book media for basic locomotor movements is an example
of a product that can be used in elementary schools. The advantage of pop up book
media is that it can change flat paper into three-dimensional paper with learning
material that is changed to be more beautiful and attractive (Farid Ahmadiya et al.
2018). The research method used is quantitative with a pre-experimental
approach. The research design uses a one group pretest-posttest design using
purposive sampling. The overall population was 83 students and the sample was
28 experimental class students using locomotor movement skills tests such as
walking, sprinting and jumping which aimed to determine students' basic
movement skills. The data collected will be tested for normality and the increase
in the percentage of success in the pop up book media for basic locomotor
movements will be calculated. The conclusion is that the application of pop up
book media can improve students' basic locomotor movement skills with a
percentage of 33.7% in elementary schools
