The focus of this research is the Gusdurian Community's strategic choices in mediating the settlement of grave rejection cases including strategies to build public opinion, strategies to build cooperation and negotiation strategies as well as driving and inhibiting factors. Data collection techniques used in this study are in-depth interviews and documentation. While the data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model with four stages ranging from data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the strategy of the Gusdurian Community in mediating the settlement of the tomb rejection case was divided into three forms, namely: First, the communication strategy in building public opinion. The strategy to build public opinion carried out by the Gusdurian Community is to make posts through Facebook and collaborate with the mass media. Second, the strategy to build cooperation. The strategy to build cooperation carried out by the Gusdurian Community is to contact the police and communicate with LBH Kontrass. Third, the strategy to negotiate. The strategy of negotiating carried out by the Gusdurian Community is to bargain interests with the parties involved, provide advice in the form of making a Village Regional Regulation on TPU and accepting the decision on the removal of the corpse at TPU Desa. In carrying out the strategy there are driving and inhibiting factors. The driving factor is based on the nine main values of Gus-Dur which are used as guidelines for the workings of the Gusdurian Community including the Value of Christianity, Humanitarian Values, Justice Values, Equality Values, Values of Liberation, Values of Brotherhood, Values of Simplicity, Values of Chivalry and Values of Tradition Wisdom. Inhibiting factors include personal pressure on the Gusdurian Community to delete Facebook posts. Not all social organizations are willing to cooperate with the Gusdurian Community and there are a number of individuals who insist on carrying out demolition as a barrier to negotiations.
