Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menguji kevalidan media quizizz sebagai penunjang materi proses kedatangan Bangsa Eropa ke Indonesia pada tema 7 pembelajaran IPS kelas V Sekolah Dasar, (2) menguji kepraktisan media quizizz sebagai penunjang materi proses kedatangan Bangsa Eropa ke Indonesia pada tema 7 pembelajaran IPS kelas V Sekolah Dasar, (3) menguji keefektifan media quizizz dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPS kelas V SD.
Penelitian pengembangan media pembelajaran ini mengacu pada model ASSURE. Subyek penelitain adalah peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Petungrejo dengan jumlah 30 anak. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan One-Shot Case Study untuk mengukur keaktifan belajar dan One-Grup Pretest-Posttest untuk mengukur hasil belajar.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berupa silabus dan RPP mendapat hasil validasi masing-masing sebesar 91,42% dan 94,44% dengan kategori berdasarkan skala Likert persentase ini kategori “sangat layak” dan “sangat layak” untuk digunakan. Sedangkan hasil validasi dari ahli media, pengembangan media quizizz dalam muatan IPS ini mendapat persentase 80% dengan kategori “layak” untuk digunakan (2) Dari uji Gscore diperoleh nilai 0,52 dimana hasil tersebut dapat kita interpretasikan bahwa terjadi “peningkatan sedang” pada keaktifan belajar peserta didik. Seluruh aspek yang diujikan pada angket berkategori sangat baik dengan rentang persentase sebesar 83,33% - 100%. jumlah rata-rata skor respon guru adalah 88% yang berarti menempati predikat “baik” (3) hasil belajar peserta didik dalam materi kedatangan bangsa-bangsa Barat adalah bila dihitung menggunakan rumus kriteria ketuntasan klasikal saat pretest adalah 70% dengan kriteria “baik” dan 30% “cukup baik”, sedangkan dari hasil posttest diketahui bahwa 80% mencapai kriteria “sangat baik” dan 20% mencapai kriteria “baik”.

This research aims to: (1) test the validity of quizizz media as supporting material for the process of the arrival of Europeans to Indonesia on theme 7 of social studies learning for grade V Elementary School, (2) test the practicality of quizizz media as supporting material for the process of Europeans coming to Indonesia on theme 7 social studies learning for class V elementary school, (3) testing the effectiveness of quizizz media in increasing students' active learning in social studies learning class V elementary school.
This learning media development research refers to the ASSURE model. The research subjects were class V students at Petungrejo State Elementary School with a total of 30 children. This research design uses One-Shot Case Study to measure learning activity and One-Group Pretest-Posttest to measure learning outcomes.
The results of this research show (1) that the learning tools in the form of syllabus and lesson plans received validation results of 91.42% and 94.44% respectively with categories based on the Likert scale of these percentages being "very feasible" and "very suitable" for use. Meanwhile, as a result of validation from media experts, the development of quizizz media in social studies content received a percentage of 80% with the category "feasible" for use. (2) From the Gscore test, a value of 0.52 was obtained, where we can interpret the results as indicating a "moderate increase" in activity. student learning. All aspects tested in the questionnaire were categorized as very good with a percentage range of 83.33% - 100%. The average teacher response score is 88%, which means it occupies the predicate "good" (3) The learning outcomes of students in the material on the arrival of Western nations are when calculated using the classical completeness criteria formula during the pretest it is 70% with the criteria "good" and 30% were "fairly good", while from the posttest results it was known that 80% achieved the "very good" criteria and 20% achieved the "good" criteria.
