The Effect of Using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Learning Model on Creative Thinking Ability, Learning Motivation, and Student Learning Outcomes in Class XII CNC Subjects
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan karena kurangnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa, rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa serta kurang maksimalnya hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif, motivasi belajar, dan hasil belajarĀ siswa dalam mata pelajaran CNC Kelas XII Di SMKN 3 Surabaya.
Metode yang digunakan yakni desain quasy eksperiment dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design dengan teknik sampling Cluster Sampling (area sampling) dimana peneliti mengambil sampel dari 2 kelas XII dari satu angkatan kelas XII di SMKN 3 Surabaya jurusan Teknik Pemesinan, yang terdiri dari 1 kelas kelompok eksperimen dan 1 kelas kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen berupa angket kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan motivasi belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan model pembelajaran PjBL diberikan juga angket respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran PjBL serta tes hasil belajar pemberian proyek kepada siswa. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t untuk menguji hipotesis.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa PjBL berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dengan signifikansi 0,000. Selanjutnya, diperoleh hasil bahwa PjBL berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dengan signifikansi 0,000. Pada hasil belajar diperoleh bahwa PjBL berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan signifikan 0,000 pada mata pelajaran CNC Kelas XII di SMKN 3 Surabaya.
This research was carried out due to students' lack of creative thinking abilities, low student motivation to learn and less than optimal student learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on creative thinking abilities, learning motivation and student learning outcomes in the Class XII CNC subject at SMKN 3 Surabaya.
The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design with a Cluster Sampling sampling technique (area sampling) where the researcher took samples from 2 class experimental group and 1 class control group. Data collection techniques used instruments in the form of questionnaires on students' creative thinking abilities and learning motivation before and after treatment with the PjBL learning model, as well as questionnaires on student responses to the PjBL learning model as well as learning outcomes tests given projects to students. Data analysis uses the t-test to test the hypothesis.
Based on the research results, it was found that PjBL had an effect on student creative thinking abilities with a significance of 0.000. Furthermore, the results obtained showed that PjBL had an effect on student learning motivation with a significance of 0.000. In terms of learning outcomes, it was found that PjBL had a significant effect on student learning outcomes of 0.000 in the Class XII CNC subject at SMKN 3 Surabaya.
