EVALUASI TINGKAT KEBUGARAN JASMANI UKM (UNIT KEGIATAN MAHASISWA) KARATE UNIVERSITAS NEGERI SURABAYA
EVALUATION OF PHYSICAL FITNESS LEVELS OF THE KARATE STUDENT ACTIVITY UNIT IN SURABAYA STATE UNIVERSITY
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan tingkat kebugaran jasmani mahasiswa UKM karate Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Untuk menjelaskan hasil perhitungan, penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif digunakan. Penelitian ini melibatkan semua mahasiswa UKM Karate Universitas Negeri Surabaya yang masih aktif, yang berjumlah 10 orang putra dari angkatan 2020–2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kebugaran jasmani mahasiswa UKM Karate Universitas Negeri Surabaya rata-rata masih rendah, dengan 8 orang dalam tes Sprint 30 meter masuk dalam kategori rendah (80%), dan hasil tes Medicine Chest Throw rata-rata masuk dalam kategori sedang dengan jumlah 5 orang (50%). Sedangkan T-Tes rata-rata masuk kategori sedang 6 orang (60%) dan Tes Keseimbangan Statis memperlihatkan bahwa rata-rata masuk dalam kategori “Kurang Sekali” dengan jumlah 6 orang (60%), dan hasil tes MFT (Multistage Fitness Test) memperlihatkan masuk dalam kategori “Kurang” dengan jumlah 4 orang (40%).
The purpose of this study was to determine the physical fitness level of Surabaya State University karate UKM students. To explain the calculation results, quantitative descriptive research was used. This study involved all active Surabaya State University Karate UKM students, totaling 10 men from the class of 2020-2022. The results showed that the average physical fitness level of Surabaya State University Karate UKM students was still low, with 8 people in the 30 meter Sprint test in the low category (80%), and the average Medicine Chest Throw test results were in the moderate category with a total of 5 people (50%). The average T-Test is in the medium category of 6 people (60%) and the Static Balance Test shows that the average is in the "Lack" category with a total of 6 people (60%), and the MFT (Multistage Fitness Test) test results show that it is in the "Lack" category with a total of 4 people (40%).
