Peserta didik masa kini dituntut untuk memiliki ketrampilan tingkat tinggi untuk memenuhi kompetensi pendidikan abad ke – 21, salah satu kompetensi tersebut adalah keketerampilan penyelesaian masalah. Problem Based Learning merupakan model pembelajaran yang menuntut peserta didik untuk mencari dan menyelesaikan permasalahan sendiri, sehingga minat peserta didik dalam pembelajaran sangat penting. Penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran dapat menarik minat peserta didik, salah satunya adalah media berbasis android sehingga dilakukan penelitian dengan tujuan menganalisis hasil pengaruh problem based learning diintegrasikan dengan media berbasis android pada materi sistem ekskresi terhadap keterampilan berpikir dan penguasaan konsep. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen kuasi dengan menggunakan rancangan matching-only pretest-posttest control group design. Hasil belajar peserta didik berupa keterampilan berpikir dan penguasaan konsep dianalisis menggunakan taksonomi SOLO dan dilakukan uji t-Test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan problem based learning diintegrasikan dengan media berbasis android dan problem based learning tanpa pengintegrasian pada materi sistem ekskresi terhadap keterampilan berpikir dan penguasaan konsep. Tingkat keterampilan berpikir dan penguasaan konsep peserta didik pada penerapan problem based learning diintegrasikan dengan media berbasis android lebih tinggi daripada peserta didik pada penerapan problem based learning tanpa pengintegrasian dengan keterampilan berpikir tingkat relasional dan extended abstract serta penguasaan konsep sebeser 80%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran problem based learning diintegrasikan dengan media berbasis android pada materi sistem ekskresi berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir dan penguasaan konsep.

Today’s students are required to have high-level skills to meet 21st century education competencies; one of these competencies is problem solving skills. Problem Based Learning is a learning model that requires students to find and solve their problems so that students’ interest in learning is significant. The use of media in learning can attract the interest of students, one of which is Android-based media so that research is conducted to analyze the effect of Problem Based Learning integrated with Android-based media on excretory system material on thinking skills and mastery of concepts. This research is a type of quasi-experimental research using matching-only pretest-posttest control group design. Student learning outcomes in the form of thinking skills and mastery of concepts were analyzed using SOLO taxonomy and carried out t-Test. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in Problem Based Learning integrated with Android-based media and Problem Based Learning without integrating excretory system material into thinking skills and mastery of the concept. The level of thinking skills and mastery of students’ concepts in the application of Problem Based Learning is integrated with Android-based media higher than students in the application of Problem Based Learning without integration with relational and extended abstract thinking skills and mastery of concepts as much as 80%. It can be concluded that Problem Based Learning integrated with Android-based media on excretory system materials influences thinking skills and mastery of concepts.
