Pendidikan seksualitas kerap dianggap tabu dan belum waktunya diajarkan pada siswa sekolah dasar. Pada kenyataannya, kurangnya pengetahuan tentang seksualitas dan sistem reproduksi di masa pubertas merupakan salah satu faktor terjadinya perundungan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kelayakan, kepaktisan, keefektifan media Wayang Fermens dalam meningkatkan pemahaman responsif gender dan anti perundungan pada siswa Fase C sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan 4-D Model dari Thiagarajan. Sasaran penelitian ini diujikan pada siswa kelas V SDN Karangtanjung Kabupaten Sidoarjo dengan Control Grup Pretest-Posttest Design. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa validasi, observasi, tes, dan angket. Analisis hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelayakan meliputi: (1) valid, media dan perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti tingkat kelayakan 87,75% sehingga layak untuk diujicobakan; (2) praktis, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran berdasarkan hasil pengamatan aktivitas guru dan siswa mencapai kriteria sangat baik; (3) efektif, hasil tes kelas kontrol N-gain 0,3 dan kelas eksperimen N-gain 0,8. Data dari hasil N-gain kedua kelas berdistribusi normal dan homogen, sehingga dilakukan independent sample t-test dengan hasil signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05 dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan efektifitas pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Simpulan penelitian ini, yaitu media Wayang Fermens valid, praktis, dan efektif sehingga dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran masa pubertas terkait sistem reproduksi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman responsif gender dan anti perundungan. Saran dalam memanfaatkan media ini diperlukan pemahaman awal pentingnya pendidikan seksualitas yang diajarkan di sekolah dasar, sehingga perlu pondasi agama dan bimbingan dari guru dan orang tua.

Sexuality education is often considered taboo and not yet time to be taught to elementary school students. In fact, lack of knowledge about sexuality and the reproductive system during puberty is one of the factors that cause bullying. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of Wayang Fermens media in improving gender responsive and anti-bullying understanding in Phase C elementary school students. This study is a type of development research or Research and Development (R&D) using the 4-D Model from Thiagarajan. The target of this study was tested on grade V students of SDN Karangtanjung, Sidoarjo Regency with Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data collection techniques include validation, observation, testing, and questionnaires. Analysis of the research results shows that the feasibility includes: (1) valid, the media and learning devices developed by the researcher have a feasibility level of 87,75% so that they are worthy of being tested; (2) practical, the implementation of learning based on the results of observations of teacher and student activities reaches very good criteria. (3) effective, the test results for the control class N-gain 0,3 and the experimental class N-gain 0,8. Data from the N-gain results of both classes are normally distributed and homogeneous, so that an independent sample t-test is carried out with a significance result of 0.00 < 0.05, it can be stated that there is a difference in effectiveness in the experimental class and the control class. The conclusion of this study is that the Wayang Fermens media is valid, practical, and effective so that it can be applied in puberty learning related to the reproductive system to improve understanding of gender responsiveness and anti-bullying. Suggestions for utilizing this media require an initial understanding of the importance of sexuality education taught in elementary schools, so a religious foundation and guidance from teachers and parents are needed.
