There are two objectives of this research, namely 1) to develop a product
in the form of motion graphic animation learning media, and 2) to determine the
feasibility of the media. Media is developed on the subject of Social Sciences,
social interaction material, for seventh-grade students at 24 Surabaya Public
Junior High School. The method used in this research is development research.
The development steps follow the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development,
Implementation, Evaluation) model. The type of data taken is quantitative data
obtained using a questionnaire instrument. The first step is problem analysis,
after the problem is found, the right media design is chosen according to the
characteristics of the material, students, and media, after that media
development is carried out. Meanwhile, the media application and evaluation
steps were not carried out because they were still in the covid-19 pandemic
period. To determine the feasibility of the media, the researcher validated the
media with three experts, namely learning design experts, material experts, and
media experts. From the validation of the media, the data obtained were
analyzed using the percentage formula and the following results were obtained:
the feasibility of the learning design got 91.5% of the results, the
feasibility of the material was 91.5% and the media feasibility was 93.25%. The
three results are then included in the percentage assessment criteria which are
classified as “very feasible”. Thus, it can be concluded that the "motion
graphic" animation media that has been developed are feasible and can be
used in learning.
