Visual Reinterpretation of  Short Story Godlob by Danarto

Penulis memilih kumpulan cerpen Godlob sebagai ide penciptaan karya seni karena dilandasi atas dasar kecenderungan penulis yang dekat dengan karya-karya cerita pendek yang sifatnya surealistik dan religius. Cerpen Godlob dipilih penulis karena dianggap kontroversi dari karya tulis Danarto yang lain. maksudnya, cerpen Godlob banyak menuai komentar oleh para pengamat dan kritikus sastra. Kumpulan cerpen Godlob merupakan karya sastra dari Danarto yang pertama terbit di tahun 1975 yang terdiri dari sembilan judul, yaitu Godlob, Rintrik, Armageddon, ABRACADABRA, Sandiwara Atas Sandiwara, Nostalgia, Labyrinth, Asmarandana, dan Kecubung Pengasihan. Di dalam kumpulan cerpen Godlob, Danarto tidak pernah memperdulikan penokohan yang dipakemkan, jalan ceritanya terbilang meloncat-loncat, mulai dari terjadinya alur mundur dan alur maju yang dikemas secara acak. Bahasan mengenai surealistik, ketuhanan, sufistik, mistis, religiusitas sangat melekat dan selalu dibahas Danarto di setiap alur ceritanya, persoalan ini melahirkan realitas fiksional surealistik bagi penulis, yang menggambarkan seakan kegaiban itu merupakan hal yang agung. Hal tersebut membawa penulis kepada pengalaman surealistik sekaligus absurdis. Pengalaman pembacaan yang didapati penulis terhadap kumpulan cerpen Godlob ini telah melahirkan imajinasi surealistik bagi penulis, yang kemudian penulis ekspresikan ke dalam bentuk sembilan karya digital paint dan satu karya seni lukis yang berjumlah sepuluh karya menggunakan konsep pendekatan reinterpretatif secara visual.

Abstract The writer Godlob collection of pens was chosen as an idea in the creation of art because it was landed on the basis of a writer's propensity to close to the works of short stories whose nature was surrealist and religiouus. Godlob's collection was chosen as a writer of the script because it was considered controversial over the other Danarto writings. It means Godlob's pen has received much comment from literary observers and critics. Godlob's story collection was Danarto's first literary work in 1975 which consisted of nine titles: Godlob, Rintrik, Armageddon, ABRACADABRA, Sandiwara alas Sandiwara, Nostalgia, Labyrinth, Asmarandana, and Compound of Conquest. In the circle of Godlob's pile, Danarto never cared about forced placement, his story path often leaps, starting with the emergence of a backward-looking stream and a random packed forward. The subject of surrealism, godliness, sufistic, mysticism, religiosity is very closely linked and is always discussed by Danarto in every passage of his story, giving rise to the surreal physical reality of the author, which describes it as a great thing. It brings writers to an surrealistic experience at the same time absurd. The author's experience of reading the contents of Godlob's pen collection has given birth to a surrealistic imagination for the author, then express it in the form of nine digital paintings and one art work that total ten works using the concept of a reinterpretative approach visually.
