DEVELOPMENT OF TANGRAM ANIMATED VIDEO MEDIA IN LEARNING MATHEMATICS OF TRIANGLES AND QUADRANGLES IN CLASS II PRIMARY SCHOOL
Matematika seringkali dianggap membosankan karena kurangnya penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran salah satunya pada materi segitiga dan segi empat. Media pembelajaran sangat diperlukan sebagai sarana penyampaian materi agar mudah dipahami oleh peserta didik. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka peneliti mengembangkan media video animasi tangram pada pembelajaran matematika materi segitiga dan segi empat kelas II sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan dan kelayakan dari media video animasi tangram yang terdiri dari kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Media video animasi tangram dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement dan Evaluate). Data penelitian berupa data kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari observasi, wawancara, hasil validasi, hasil angket respon pengguna serta pre test dan post test peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di UPT SD Negeri Ngandong dengan jumlah 24 peserta didik kelas II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media video animasi dinyatakan valid oleh ahli materi dan ahli media yang mendapatkan persentase sebesar 90% dan 92% yang termasuk kriteria sangat valid. Kepraktisan media diperoleh dari hasil angket respon pengguna yaitu dari pendidik yang mendapatkan persentase sebesar 96% dan peserta didik dengan persentase 93,7 % yang termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Keefektifan media video animasi tangram didapatkan melalui hasil uji normalitas N Gain dengan perolehan hasil 0,79 yang termasuk kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang didapatkan, dapat dinyatakan bahwa media video animasi tangram layak untuk diterapkan pada pembelajaran matematika materi segitiga dan segi empat di kelas II sekolah dasar.

Mathematics is often considered boring because of the lack of use of media in learning, one of which is triangles and quadrilaterals. Learning media is very necessary as a means of delivering material so that it is easily understood by students. Based on this, the researchers developed tangram animation video media for teaching mathematics on triangles and quadrilaterals in class II elementary schools. The aim of this research is to determine the development process and feasibility of tangram animation video media consisting of validity, practicality and effectiveness. Tangram animation video media was developed using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate) model. Research data consists of qualitative and quantitative data obtained from observations, interviews, validation results, user response questionnaire results as well pre test and post test learners. This research was conducted at UPT SD Negeri Ngandong with a total of 24 class II students. The results of the research show that animated video media was declared valid by material experts and media experts who obtained percentages of 90% and 92% which included very valid criteria. The practicality of the media was obtained from the results of the user response questionnaire, namely from educators who got a percentage of 96% and students with a percentage of 93.7% which was included in the very practical category. The effectiveness of the tangram animation video media was obtained through the results of the N Gain normality test with a result of 0.79 which is in the high category. Based on the research results obtained, it can be stated that the tangram animation video media is suitable for application in mathematics learning about triangles and quadrilaterals in class II elementary schools.
