Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis literasi sains pada materi keanekaragaman hayati untuk melatihkan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang valid berdasarkan hasil validasi, praktis berdasarkan hasil pengamatan aktivitas peserta didik dan efektif berdasarkan ketuntasan indikator pembelajaran, tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil respons peserta didik. Sasaran penelitian ini yakni pengembangan LKPD yang diujicobakan pada 20 peserta didik di SMAN 18 Surabaya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model pengembangan 4-D (Define, Design, Develop dan Dessiminate). Data dikumpulkan dan dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. LKPD yang dikembangkan mengintegrasikan aspek literasi sains, pengatur grafis literasi sains dan indikator berpikir kritis. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa LKPD dinilai sangat valid dengan persentase validasi sebesar 99,07% dengan interpretasi sangat valid. Kepraktisan aktivitas peserta didik selama pembelajaran sebesar 98,26% dengan interpretasi sangat praktis. Keefektifan LKPD berdasarkan hasil tes ketuntasan indikator pembelajaran sebesar 88,50% dengan interpretasi sangat tuntas dan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis rata-rata sebesar 86,93% dengan interpretasi baik serta hasil respons peserta didik sebesar 99,52% dengan interpretasi sangat positif. Dengan demikian LKPD berbasis literasi sains dinyatakan sangat valid, praktis dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran pada materi keanekaragaman hayati.

The purpose of this research was to produce a student worksheet that valid based on the results of validation, practical based on observations of student activities and effective based on the completeness of learning indicators, the level of critical thinking skills and results response of students. The target of this study is the development of student worksheet which was piloted in 20 students at senior high school 18 Surabaya. This research is a development research that refers to the 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop and Dessiminate). Data were collected and analyzed descriptive quantitatively. The developed student worksheet integrates aspects of science literacy, graphic regulator of science literacy and indicators of critical thinking. The validation results show that the student worksheet is considered very valid with a percentage of validation of 99.07% with a very valid. The practicality of student activities during learning is 98.26% with very practical interpretations. The effectiveness of student worksheet based on the results of the learning indicator completeness test is 88.50% with very thorough interpretations and the level of critical thinking skills averaged 86.93% with good interpretations and the response results of students amounted to 99.52% with very positive interpretations. Thus science literacy based student worksheet is stated to be very valid, practical and effective to be used in learning on biodiversity material.
