UNGKAPAN TAKUT TERTINGGAL TERHADAP TREND TIKTOK MELALUI TIPE TARI DRAMATIK DALAM KARYA TARI ‘‘FOMO ON TIKTOK’’

            Karya tari Fomo On TikTok merupakan sebuah karya yang menggambarkan perasaan takut tertinggal suatu trend. Karya ini berangkat dari fenomena Fomo singkatan dari Fear Of Missing Out yang diartikan dalam bahasa Indonesia yaitu takut tertinggal. Menurut pandangan koreografer, fenomena Fomo dapat diartikan sebagai sindrom atau kecanduan terhadap suatu trend. Fomo berdampak pada perasaan seseorang yang cenderung akan terus merasakan cemas dan terus ingin mengikuti hal baru yang sedang terjadi. Penata memfokuskan karya ini menjadi dua fokus yaitu fokus isi pada karya ini mengenai perasaan takut tertinggal terhadap trend pada aplikasi TikTok yang dapat menimbulkan kecemasan dan fokus bentuk pada karya ini yaitu bentuk tipe tari dramatik.

Penulisan karya tari Fomo On TikTok menggunakan beberapa teori diantaranya, teori koreografi, teori bentuk tipe tari, dan teori proses penciptaan. Teori koreografi menggunakan teori dari Sumandiyo Hadi yang berisi mengenai Eksplorasi, Improvisasi dan Pembentukan yang diperkuat dengan teori koreografi dari Sal Murgiyanto. Koreografer juga menggunakan teori bentuk tari dramatik dan proses penciptaan dari Jacqueline Smith yang akan berkaitan dengan perubahan suasana pada alur dalam karya ini yang terdiri dari Introduksi, adegan 1, adegan 2, adegan 3 sebagi Klimaks 1, adegan 4, adegan 5 sebagai Klimaks 2 dan anti klimaks. Proses penciptaan menggunakan Metode Konstruksi 1, di antaranya adalah rangsang awal, penentuan tipe tari, penentuan mode penyajian, improvisasi, evaluasi, seleksi dan penghalusan, serta motif.

Karya tari Fomo On TikTok disajikan di atas panggung proscenium dengan menggunakan mode penyajian simbolis representatif. Gaya dan ragam gerak pada karya ini hasil eksplorasi dari dance TikTok yang energik dan ekspresif serta menggunakan gaya hiphop dance. Karya ini menggunakan unsur pendukung seperti properti ring light dan tripod beserta setting tirai rumbai, tata busana menggunakan berbagai macam warna, tata rias menggunakan riasan natural, tata cahaya menggunakan lampu jenis par LED, par64, follow spot serta penerangan dari ring light, musik iringan menggunakan Musical Instrument Digital Interface. Unsur pendukung yang digunakan pada karya ini mempertimbangkan secara detail antara kesesuaian karya dengan konsep yang diangkat.

The dance work Fomo On TikTok is a work that describes the feeling of being afraid of being left behind by a trend. This work departs from the Fomo phenomenon, which stands for Fear Of Missing Out, which in Indonesian means fear of being left behind. According to the choreographer's view, the Fomo phenomenon can be interpreted as a syndrome or addiction to a trend. Fomo has an impact on the feelings of someone who tends to continue to feel anxious and continues to want to follow new things that are happening. The stylist focuses this work into two focuses, namely the focus of the content in this work regarding the feeling of being left behind by trends in the TikTok application which can cause anxiety and the focus of the form in this work, namely the type of dramatic dance.

The writing of the dance work Fomo On TikTok uses several theories including choreography theory, theory of dance-type forms, and theory of the process of creation. The choreographic theory uses theory from Sumandiyo Hadi which contains Exploration, Improvisation and Formation which is strengthened by choreography theory from Sal Murgiyanto. The choreographer also uses the theory of dramatic dance forms and the process of creation from Jacqueline Smith which will be related to the changing atmosphere in the flow of this work which consists of Introduction, scene 1, scene 2, scene 3 as Climax 1, scene 4, scene 5 as Climax 2 and anti climax. The creation process uses Construction Method 1, including the initial stimulus, determining the type of dance, determining the mode of presentation, improvisation, evaluation, selection and refinement, and motives.

The Fomo On TikTok dance work is presented on the proscenium stage using a representative symbolic presentation mode. The style and variety of movements in this work are the result of an exploration of the energetic and expressive TikTok dance that uses the hip-hop dance style. This work uses supporting elements such as ring light and tripod properties along with tassel curtain settings, fashion using various colors, make-up using natural make-up, lighting using LED par, par64, follow spot and lighting from ring light, accompaniment music using Musical Instruments Digital Interfaces. The supporting elements used in this work consider in detail the suitability of the work with the concept raised.
