STRUKTUR PAGELARAN JARANAN JAWA PAGUYUBAN “TURONGGO JAWI” ING DESA BUTUH KECAMATAN KRAS KABUPATEN KEDIRI (TINTINGAN FOLKLOR)
THE PERFORMANCE STRUCTURE OF JAVANESE JARANAN “TURONGGO JAWI” COMMUNITY IN BUTUH VILLAGE, KRAS SUBDISTRICT, KEDIRI REGENCY (A FOLKLORE PERSPECTIVE)
Struktur Pagelaran Jaranan Jawa Paguyuban “Turonggo Jawi” di Desa Butuh, Kecamatan Kras, Kabupaten Kediri, sebagai salah satu bentuk folklor yang diwarisakan dengan turun-temurun oleh masarakat Jawa. Pagelaran ini merupakan salah satu wujud kabebudayaan dan tradisi yang menjadi tanda jati diri, identitas budaya, dan nilai-nilai sosial masarakat Desa Butuh. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan latar belakang munculnya Pagelaran Jaranan Jawa Paguyuban “Turonggo Jawi”, struktur pagelaran, wujud dan makna ubarampe yang digunakan, fungsi dan perubahan pagelaran, serta usaha pelestariannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui latar belakang munculnya Pagelaran Jaranan Jawa Paguyuban “Turonggo Jawi”, struktur pagelaran, makna ubarampe yang digunakan, piguna dan perubahan pagelaran, serta usaha pelestariannya ditengah masarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan folklor menurut Danandjaja, konsep struktur pagelaran dari Martin dan Pesovar, teori makna simbol dari Liliweri, konsep piguna dari Bascom, serta konsep perubahan pagelaran dari Sukarman, dan konsep pelestarian dari Koentjaraningrat. Data yang digunakan diperoleh melalui wawancara, obervasi, dan juga dokumentasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pagelaran Jaranan Jawa Paguyuban “Turonggo Jawi” memiliki tahapan yang lengkap juga jelas. Mulai dari awal mula Pagelaran Jaranan Jawa Paguyuban “Turonggo Jawi”. Struktur pagelaran, mulai dari pembukaan, eksposisi, isi, puncak adegan, dan penutup pagelaran. Ubarampe yang terkandung di setiap bagiannya. Piguna yang ada didalam Pagelaran Jaranan Jawa Paguyuban “Turonggo Jawi”. Pagelaran ini juga menjelasakan perubahan didalamnya, serta upaya mengenai pelestarian agar tetep dijaga, diwarisakan, dan berkembang di era modern. Dengan adanya Pagelaran Jaranan Jawa Paguyuban “Turonggo Jawi” dapat disimpulkan dan dipahami bahwa struktur dari pagelaran ini memiliki ciri yang khas dan menjadi media penghibur rakyat, media spiritual dan sosial yang bertujuwan untuk menjaga hubungan dengan leluhur, alam dan Gusti. Serta menjaga rasa gotong royong dan rasa persaudaraan di tengah masarakat.

The structure of the Javanese Jaranan performance by the “Turonggo Jawi” association in Butuh Village, Kras District, Kediri Regency is a form of folklore that has been passed down from generation to generation within Javanese society. This performance represents a manifestation of culture and tradition that signifies identity, cultural values, and social values of the Butuh Village community. The research problems in this study focus on describing the background of the emergence of the Javanese Jaranan performance by the “Turonggo Jawi” association, the performance structure, the forms and meanings of the ubarampe used, the functions and changes of the performance, as well as efforts toward its preservation. The objectives of this study are to examine the background of the emergence of the Javanese Jaranan performance by the “Turonggo Jawi” association, its performance structure, the meanings of the ubarampe used, the functions and transformations of the performance, and preservation efforts within the community. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method ukang a folkloristic approach proposed by Danandjaja, the concept of performance structure by Martin and Pesovar, symbolic meaning theory by Liliweri, the functional concept by Bascom, the concept of performance change by Sukarman, and the concept of cultural preservation by Koentjaraningrat. The data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation.
The results of the study indicate that the Javanese Jaranan performance by the “Turonggo Jawi” association has complete and well-defined stages, starting from the origins of the performance. The performance structure consists of the opening, exposition, main performance, climax, and clokang. Each stage contains specific ubarampe with particular meanings and functions within the performance. The study also reveals changes that have occurred in the performance as well as preservation efforts to ensure that it continues to be maintained, transmitted, and developed in the modern era. The existence of the Javanese Jaranan performance by the “Turonggo Jawi” association demonstrates that its structure possesses distinctive characteristics and functions as a medium of folk entertainment, as well as a spiritual and social medium aimed at maintaining harmonious relationships with ancestors, nature, and God, while also fostering a sense of mutual cooperation and brotherhood within the community.
