IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MAIN EDUCATION DATA SYSTEM PROGRAM IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION AT SMP NEGERI 1 KARAS, MAGETAN REGENCY

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi program sistem data pokok pendidikan dalam pelaksanaan administrasi sekolah pada SMP Negeri 1 Karas Kabupaten Magetan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian mengacu pada teori implementasi kebijakan oleh George C. Edward III, dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi program Sistem Data Pokok Pendidikan (Dapodik) di SMP Negeri 1 Karas telah berjalan dengan cukup baik, meskipun masih terdapat beberapa kendala yang perlu diperhatikan lebih lanjut. Dilihat dari komunikasi, sumberdaya, disposisi dan struktur birokrasi semua sudah berjalan dengan baik meski masih ada beberapa yang belum optimal. Secara umum, implementasi Dapodik di SMP Negeri 1 Karas menunjukkan kemajuan yang positif, tetapi keberhasilannya masih sangat dipengaruhi oleh inisiatif individu dan belum ditopang oleh sistem kelembagaan yang kuat

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Basic Education Data System (Dapodik) program in school administration at SMP Negeri 1 Karas, Magetan Regency. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Referring to the policy implementation theory by George C. Edward III, the findings indicate that the implementation of the Dapodik program at SMP Negeri 1 Karas has been fairly well-executed, although several challenges still need to be addressed. In terms of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure, most components are functioning adequately, albeit with some areas requiring improvement.  Overall, the implementation of Dapodik at SMP Negeri 1 Karas shows positive progress. However, its success remains heavily influenced by individual initiative and is not yet fully supported by a robust institutional system.
