PENGARUH MEDIA CONGKLAK DADU PELANGI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATERI PERKALIAN SEKOLAH DASAR KELAS III
THE EFFECT OF CONGKLAK DADU PELANGI ON THIRD GRADE ELEMENTARY STUDENTS LEARNING OUTCOMES IN MULTIPLICATION
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya hasil belajar perkalian sehingga congklak dadu pelangi ditawarkan sebagai solusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media congklak dadu pelangi terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas III pada materi perkalian. Penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen ini berjenis quasi experimental dan berdesain nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas III SDN Lontar 481 tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji Independent Sample T-Test untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya dan uji N-Gain untuk mengetahui efektivitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata – rata posttest kelas eksperimen sebesar 83,33 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 74,60. Hasil uji Independent Sample T-Test menunjukkan Sig. 0,033 < 0,05 sehingga terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunaan media congklak dadu pelangi terhadap hasil belajar materi perkalian sekolah dasar kelas III. Nilai N-Gain Persen kelas eksperimen sebesar 63% sehingga menunjukkan media tersebut cukup efektif digunakan. Sedangkan, nilai N-Gain Persen kelas kontrol sebesar 38,98% sehingga menunjukkan media tersebut tidak cukup efektif digunakan. Efektivitas kelas eksperimen menegaskan pentingnya kreativitas guru menggunakan media konkret berbasis budaya.
This study is motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes of elementary students, particularly in multiplication. Congklak Dadu Pelangi, a culturally based concrete learning media, is proposed as a solution. The study aims to examine its effect on third-grade students’ multiplication learning outcomes. This quantitative study used a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group. It was conducted in Class III of SDN Lontar 481 during the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were analyzed using the Independent Sample T-Test to measure the effect and the N-Gain test to assess effectiveness. The research results show that the average post-test score of the experimental class was 83,33, while the control class was 74,60. The T-Test yielded a significance value of 0,033 < 0,05, indicating a significant effect of Congklak Dadu Pelangi on students’ multiplication outcomes. The experimental class had an N-Gain percentage of 63%, showing the media was quite effective, while the control class scored 38,98%, indicating lower effectiveness. These findings suggest that learning in the experimental class was more effective. Therefore, teachers should creatively use cultural media to engage students and enhance learning.
