Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran administrasi pajak pada materi PPh Pasal 21 di kelas XI Akuntansi Keuangan dan Lembaga (AKL) 5 pada tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil dokumentasi hasil belajar sebesar 37% atau lebih dari 12 orang belum memperoleh nilai diatas Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang telah ditentukan yaitu 75. Hal ini disebabkan karena guru belum melaksanakan pembelajaran sesuai sintak model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) yaitu pada tahap pembentukan kelompok secara heterogen serta pemberian kuis individual. Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah tersebut peneliti hendak melakukan penelitian dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) pada mata pelajaran administrasi pajak sesuai dengan sintaknya.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Data yang didapatkan berasal dari data peserta didik yaitu, kuisioner dan hasil belajar. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data tersebut menggunakan teknik analisis pelaksanaan pembelajaran, analisis hasil belajar peserta didik, dan analisis respon peserta didik. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori tentang belajar, model pembelajaran, dan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD.

Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terjadi kenaikan nilai yang cukup tinggi dimana hampir 90% peserta didik mendapatkan nilai diatas KKM. Dalam pembelajaran ini, guru telah melaksanakan sama seperti sintaks. Lalu disini, guru menjadi lebih sedikit menjelaskan materi tetapi digantikan dengan peserta didik dimana mereka berusaha untuk mencari informasi melalui kegiatan diskusi. Hal tersebut membuat guru hanya menanggapi dan menambahkan materi apabila dirasa peserta didik belum memahaminya. Dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran STAD, peserta didik lebih aktif pada pembelajaran dan tidak lagi bergantung pada guru saja. Disini, peserta didik bisa berpikir kritik untuk menyelesaikan soal-soal. Agar tujuan pembelajarannya bisa tercapai.

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in tax administration subjects on Income Tax Article 21 in class XI Financial and Institutional Accounting (AKL) 5 in the academic year 2017/2018 as indicated by the results of documentation of learning outcomes of 37% or more than 12 people have not yet received a score above the Minimum completeness Criteria (KKM) that has been determined, namely 75. This is because the teacher has not implemented learning according to the syntax of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type of cooperative learning model at the stage of forming heterogeneous groups and giving individual quizzes. Based on the background of the problem, the researcher wants to conduct research by applying the cooperative learning model type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) in tax administration subjects according to its syntax.

This research uses classroom action research methods. The data obtained comes from student data, namely, questionnaires and learning outcomes. The technique used to analyze the data uses learning implementation analysis techniques, analysis of student learning outcomes, and analysis of student responses. The theory used is the theory of learning, learning models, and STAD type cooperative learning models.

Based on the data analysis conducted, it was concluded that the learning outcomes of students by applying the STAD type cooperative learning model experienced a significant increase in value where almost 90% of students got grades above the KKM. In this learning, the teacher has implemented the same as syntax. Then here, the teacher becomes less explaining the material but is replaced by students where they try to find information through discussion activities. This makes the teacher only respond and add material if it is felt the students do not understand it. By applying the STAD learning model, students are more active in learning and no longer depend on the teacher alone. Here, students can think critically to solve problems. So that learning objectives can be achieved.
