Application of the Direct Instruction Learning Model to Broken Pants Patterns Phase F SMK Negeri 6 Surabaya

Penelitian ini menyelidiki penerapan model pembelajaran direct instruction pada pecah pola celana fase F SMK Negeri 6 Surabaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mendeskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran Direct Instruction pada pecah pola celana terhadap hasil belajar siswa fase F SMK Negeri 6 Surabaya, (2) Untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran Direct Instruction pada pecah pola celana fase F SMK Negeri 6 Surabaya. Pendekatam yang digunakan dalam penelitian eksperimen ini pre-experimental dengan jenis One-shoot Case Study. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, dan tes berupa tes kognitif dan psikomotor. Hasil analisis menunjukkan hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) Penerapan model pembelajaran direct instruction berjalan dengan sangat baik, dengan skor sebesar 3,7 termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. (2) Model pembelajaran direct instruction efektif dalam menaikkan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil tersebut menyatakan 27 dari 31 siswa mengalami ketuntasan dengan rata-rata nilai 86. Sedangkan, 4 dari 31 siswa mengalami ketidaktuntasan dengan nilai rata-rata 71.

This research investigates the application of the direct instruction learning model on breaking pants patterns in phase F of SMK Negeri 6 Surabaya. This research aims to (1) Describe the application of Direct Instruction learning on trouser pattern breaking on the learning outcomes of phase F students at SMK Negeri 6 Surabaya, (2) To describe student learning outcomes on the application of the Direct Instruction learning model on trouser pattern breaking in phase F of SMK Negeri 6 Surabaya. The design used in this experimental research is a pre-experimental design with a One-shot Case Study type. Data collection techniques in this research used observation techniques, and tests in the form of cognitive and psychomotor tests. The results of the analysis show the following research results: (1) The implementation of the direct instruction learning model went very well, with a score of 3.7, which is included in the very good category. (2) The direct instruction learning model is effective in increasing student learning outcomes. These results stated that 27 out of 31 students experienced completion with an average score of 86. Meanwhile, 4 out of 31 students experienced incompleteness with an average score of 71.
