PERANCANGAN ANIMASI PENDEK 2 DIMENSI TENTANG DAMPAK KEKERASAN FISIK PADA ANAK UNTUK ORANG TUA DI KOTA SURABAYA
DESIGN OF A SHORT 2-DIMENSIONAL ANIMATION ON THE IMPACT OF PHYSICAL VIOLENCE ON CHILDREN FOR PARENTS IN THE CITY OF SURABAYA
Peningkatan kasus kekerasan fisik pada anak di Jawa Timur, khususnya di Kota Surabaya menunjukkan pentingnya sosialisasi dan edukasi terkait dampak kekerasan fisik pada anak untuk orang tua, salah satunya dengan menggunakan media animasi 2 Dimensi. Oleh karena itu, peneliti dapat merumuskan masalah penelitian meliputi menentukan konsep, proses, dan hasil perancangan animasi 2 dimensi tentang dampak kekerasan fisik pada anak. Penelitian bertujuan merancang media edukasi alternatif berupa animasi 2 dimensi dengan pendekatan Design Thinking dari Kelley and Brown meliputi pengumpulan data (empathize), analisis (define), konsep (ideate), perancangan (prototype) dan pengujian (test). Teknik analisis data Miles and Huberman digunakan untuk melakukan pendekatan penelitian secara kualitatif. Proses perancangan melalui tahap analisis data, praproduksi (naskah, storyboard, sketsa karakter dan background), produksi (digitalisasi dan animasi objek), dan pascaproduksi (compositing). Validasi kepada validator untuk mendapatkan umpan balik guna menyempurnakan hasil karya. Pengujian dilakukan publikasi karya melalui platform Instagram dan menyebar kuesioner kepada orang tua di Kota Surabaya. Kesimpulan akhir dengan hasil persentase 89,76% menunjukan karya layak digunakan sebagai media edukasi alternatif.

The increase in cases of physical violence against children in East Java, especially in the city of Surabaya, shows the importance of socialization and education regarding the impact of physical violence on children for parents, one of which is using 2-dimensional animation media. Therefore, researchers can formulate research problems including determining the concept, process, and results of designing a 2-dimensional animation about the impact of physical violence on children. The research aims to design alternative educational media in the form of 2-dimensional animation using the Design Thinking approach from Kelley and Brown including data collection (empathy), analysis (define), concept (ideate), design (prototype) and testing (test). Miles and Huberman data analysis techniques were used to carry out a qualitative research approach. The design process goes through the stages of data analysis, pre-production (script, storyboard, character and background sketches), production (digitization and animation of objects), and post-production (compositing). Validate with validators to get feedback to improve the work. The test was carried out by publishing the work via the Instagram platform and distributing questionnaires to parents in the city of Surabaya. The final conclusion with a percentage result of 89.76% shows that the work is suitable for use as alternative educational media.
