THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING MEDIA ON DESIGNING
AND DRAWING
LIGHTING
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL

Learning media which is developed by the researcher
covers : (1) s y l l abus; (2) lesson plan ( LP ); (3) assessment
sheet ( AS ); (4) learning media ; (5) materials ; an d (6) learning test
result . This
development study aims
to develop and
find out the
properness of learning
media on designing
and drawing
lighting electrical installation
cooperative
learning model by modeling the way method in
Pungging 1
State Vocational High School . The
research method used was
research
and development (R&D) .
The research design
which used was one group
pretest-posttest design .
The properness result of the learning media is reviewed
by validity , practicality , an d ef f e c ti veness . The validity of
the developed learning media is reviewed by the
validation of a learning media expert . According to
the validation results of
3 expert validator s, it is shown the average value of the learning
media in 78,96% , in
detail : (1) 79,54% for
syllabus ; (2) 82,29% for
lesson plan ( LP ); (3) 81,48% for assessment
sheet ( AS ); (4) 74,07% for learning
media ; (5) 80,00% for
materials ; an d (6) 82,29% for learning
test result . The
practicallity of
the developed learning media is reviewed by students and
teachers’ responses . Based
on the response result, it is
shown that the average assessment of teachers are
in 90,00% an d the average
assessment of students
are in 85,33%. The
effectiveness of
the developed learning media which is
reviewed by
students’ learning result .
The students learning result
covers : (1) learning
result in
affective aspect
can be known that
the average value before treatment is 79,42, while the
average value after
treatment
is 85,94; (2) learning
result in c ogniti ve aspect can
be known by the result of Kolmogorov-Smirnov test that has
pretest value of
0,10 an d posttest value
of 0,53 which
is higher than α =
0,05, the result of Levene Statistic test has
significance value
of 0,24 which
is higher than α =
0,05, and
the result of
Paired
Sample Test has got
the value of t calculated of -16,69 an d t table of 1,69, t calculated (16.69) > t table (1,699) so H0 is
rejected and H1 is
accepted ; an d (3) the test result
of ps ycho motor aspect can be known by
the result
of Kolmogorov-Smirnov test before treatment is
0,10 an d after treatment is 0,12, based on Levene Statistic test,
it is shown the significance value of
0,50, an d
based on Paired
Sample Test , it is
shown the value of t calculated of -38,71 an d the value of t table of 1,69, t calculated (38,71) > t table (1,69) then H0 is rejected an d H1 is accepted
which means there is a difference
in the average value of
students’ learning result
before treatment which
is lower than
after treatment ( the
implementation of
learning media
on designing an d drawing ligthing
electrical installation
cooperative
learning model
by modeling
the way method ). According
to this development study, it can be concluded that the learning media is
appropriate to be utilized
on the learning of lighting electrical installation in Pungging 1 State
Vocational High School .
