Keterampilan literasi sains penting untuk dilatihkan kepada peserta didik karena menjadi fokus utama dalam dunia pendidikan di abad 21. Untuk dapat meningkatkan keterampilan literasi sains diperlukan sarana berupa perangkat pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik (LKPD) pada submateri pencemaran lingkungan untuk melatihkan keterampilan literasi sains, serta mendeskripsikan kelayakan LKPD berdasarkan hasil validitas, kepraktisan dan efektifitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (define, design, develop, dan disseminate), namun penelitian ini hanya dilakukan sampai tahap develop. Validitas LKPD ditinjau berdasarkan kelayakan isi, kelayakan penyajian, kelayakan kebahasaan, dan kesesuaian dengan indikator literasi sains. Adapun hasil validasi dihasilkan modus kategori sangat valid. Kepraktisan LKPD ditinjau berdasarkan hasil pengamatan aktivitas peserta didik yang menunjukkan hasil dengan modus terlaksana. Hasil pengamatan aktivitas peserta didik menunjukkan LKPD praktis untuk digunkan dalam melatihkan keterampilan literasi sains peserta didik kelas X SMA. LKPD dinyatakan efektif untuk melatihkan keterampilan literasi sains dengan modus hasil belajar yaitu tuntas dengan presentase ketuntasan 100%.

Scientific literacy is important to be trained in students because it has become the main focus in the world of education in the 21st century. To be able to improve scientific literacy skills a means of learning tools is needed. Based on this urgency, the study will conduct the research development which was aimed to produce Students’ Worksheet in environment pollution topic to train scientific literacy skills and describing properness of the Students’ Worksheet from its validity, practicality, and effectifeness. This type of the research was 4D (define, design, develop, and disseminate), but this only reaches the stage of research development. The validity of Students’ Worksheet was reviewed from the properness of the content, presentation, linguistic, and conformity with indicators of scientific literacy. The results of the validation were very valid category modus. The practicality of Students’ Worksheet were observation of students activities which shows the results with the implemented modus. The result of the observations of student activities show practical Students’ Worksheet to be used to train scientific literacy skills for tenth graders of senior high school students’. So that Students’ Worksheet was declared practicality to train scientific literacy. Students’ Worksheet was explain effective to train scientific literacy the modus of learning outcomes was complete with 100% completeness.
