Learning model is one of the essential
aspects in learning process used by the teacher to teach their students of SMK
Negeri 1 Driyorejo. The objective of this study is to develop and figure out
the advisability of learning model PBLA in electrical installation subject. The
learning model which developed in this study are: (1) the syllabus of PBLA in
electrical installation subject; (2) lesson plan of PBLA in electrical
installation subject; (3) students’ learning sheet; and (4) students’ learning
materials.
The
research methodology used in this study is research & development method (R&D).
The mechanism are: (1) pre-observation; (2) designing the lesson plan; (3)
validation and revision; (4) empirical trial and revision. Then, the research
design used in this study is one shot case study.
The result of validity in PBLA learning model
include: (1) syllabus of PBLA in electrical installation subject with the
number of 8 6,78 % is
highly properly used; (2) lesson plan of PBLA learning model in electrical
installation subject in the first meeting with the number of 89,12 % is highly properly used; (3) lesson
plan of PBLA learning model in electrical installation subject in the second
meeting with the number of 90,50 % is
highly properly used; (4) lesson plan of PBLA learning model in electrical
installation subject in the third meeting with the number of 9 3,75 % is highly properly used; (5) lesson
plan of PBLA learning model in electrical installation subject in the fourth
meeting with the number of 9 2,82 % is
highly properly used; (6) students’ learning sheet of PBLA learning model in
electrical installation component with the number of 87,96 % is highly properly used; (7) students’ learning sheet of PBLA learning
model in electrical installation drawing with the number of 89,35 % is highly properly used; (8) students’
learning sheet of PBLA learning model in electrical installation assembling 1
fase 1 group with the number of 88,43 % is
highly properly used; (9) students’ learning sheet of PBLA learning model in
electrical installation assembling 1 fase 2 group with the number of 89,81 % is highly properly used; and (10)
students’ learning material PBLA learning model in electrical installation with
the number of 8 8,23 % is
highly properly used.
The practically result of PBLA learning model
in electrical installation include: (1) the implementation of PBLA learning
model in electrical installation with very good criteria; (2) students’
response toward PBLA learning model in electrical installation get positive
responses.
The
effectiveness result of learning model include: (1) the result of attitude competence
with the number of 87.76%, as a result students get the above average scores
with good criteria; (2) the result of knowledge competence in electrical
installation is analyze used one simple
t-test , they get a significant result 0.000 so the researcher may conclude
that the knowledge competence is above the standard scores with the average
criteria; (4) the result of students’ learning independence in SMK Negeri 1
Driyorejo is analyzed used one simple t-test and get a significant score 0.000
. As a result, the researcher may conclude students’ learning independence in
SMK Negeri 1 Driyorejo is above the criteria of independency criteria.
