SAND MOSAIC WITH THEME OF FAUNA DECORATION IN ART AND CULTURE LEARNING FOR GRADE X ISLAMIC SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 2 BOJONEGORO
Seni budaya dengan materi yang tidak sedikit menjadi tantangan guru dengan perlunya perkembangan pembelajaran sekaligus praktik media dan bahan baru dengan berkarya mozaik dikolaborasikan bersama materi seni rupa 2 dimensi didalamnya.
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan (1) mendeskripsikan proses kegiatan belajar mengajar seni budaya dalam materi 2 dimensi, 2) mendeskripsikan hasil berkarya seni mozaik pasir dengan tema ragam hias fauna, (3) menjabarkan tanggapan guru seni budaya dan peserta didik mengenai berkarya seni mozaik pasir dengan tema ragam hias fauna.
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian yakni peserta didik kelas X-D Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bojonegoro. Pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode pengamatan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan, selanjutnya divalidasi dengan triangulasi sumber.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peserta didik kelas X-D telah melaksanakan proses kegiatan belajar mengajar materi 2 dimensi bertemakan ragam hias fauna yang mampu memahami pengertian berkarya seni 2 dimensi, menjabarkan pengertian ragam hias, mengelompokkan unsur dan prinsip berkarya seni rupa 2 dimensi, mengaplikasikan teknik stilasi dalam membuat motif ragam hias, menyebutkan alat serta bahan dalam berkarya, menerapkan teknik mozaik dalam pembuatan karya seni rupa 2 dimensi, dan juga menalar tata cara berkarya seni rupa 2 dimensi teknik mozaik. Serta menghasilkan karya mozaik 2 dimensi ukuran A3 dengan kriteria hasil kelompok 1,2, dan 4 tergolong sangat baik, sedangkan kelompok 3 tergolong cukup baik dengan skor 77, dan kelompok 5 tergolong kurang dengan skor 70 berdasarkan pemilihan objek yang berbeda setiap kelompok, menerapkan pencampuran warna dari bahan berkarya yakni pasir terrarium berwarna hitam, putih, merah marun, biru dongker, cokelat muda, dan tosca. Jadi peserta didik kelas X-D telah menghasilkan karya seni mozaik bertemakan ragam hias fauna pada setiap kelompok dengan cukup memuaskan dari awal, proses hingga akhir. Tanggapan guru seni budaya dan peserta didik dengan penelitian ini menghasilkan kontribusi, alternatif dan perkembangan pembelajaran hingga berkarya seni bagi sekolah ataupun peneliti itu sendiri.

Art and culture with many materials is a challenge for teachers with the need for the development of learning as well as new media and material practices by creating mosaic in collaboration with 2 dimensions art material in it.
This research was conducted with the objectives of 1) describe the process of teaching and learning art and culture in 2 dimensions material, 2) describe the result of creating sand mosaic art with theme of various animal decorative, 3) describe the responses of art and culture teacher and students regarding creating sand mosaic art with the theme of animal decorative.
This research is descriptive research with subjects namely students of class X-D Islamic senior high school 2 Bojonegoro. Qualitative approach. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, then validated by source triangulation.
The results showed that students in class X-D had carried out the process of teaching and learning activities on 2-dimensional material with the theme of fauna ornaments who were able to understand the meaning of 2-dimensional art, describe the meaning of decoration, classify elements and principles of creating 2-dimensional art, apply stylization techniques in making motifs. decoration, mentioning the tools and materials in creating works, applying mosaic techniques in making 2-dimensional works of art, and also understanding the procedures for creating 2-dimensional fine art using mosaic techniques. As well as producing 2-dimensional mosaic works of A3 size with the results criteria groups 1,2 and 4 are classified as very good, while group 3 is quite good with a score of 77, and group 5 is classified as lacking with a score of 70 based on the selection of different objects for each group, applying mixing that colours of the materials used for creation are terrarium sand in black, white, maroon, navy blue, light brown, and tosca. So students in class X-D have produced a mosaic artwork with the theme of decorative animal in each group quite satisfying from start to finish. The responses of arts and culture teachers and students with this research resulted in contributions, alternatives and developments in learning to create art for the school or the researchers themselves.
