Efektivitas Sport Massage Dan Bekam Terhadap Perubahan Heart rate Dan Asam Laktat Pada Atlet Setelah High Intensity Interval Training
The Effectiveness of Sport Massage and Cupping Against Changes in Heart Rate and Lactic Acid in Athletes After High Intensity Interval Training
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan efek sport massage, bekam, dan kombinasi sport massage dan bekam terhadap perubahan heart rate, asam laktat pada atlet setelah high-intensity interval training (HIIT). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu. Pada penelitian ini terdapat beberapa kelompok antara lain; kelompok I sport massage (n = 10), kelompok II bekam (n = 10), kelompok III sport massage dan bekam (n = 10), dan kelompok IV tanpa perlakuan (n = 10). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan paired sample t- test dan uji beda nilai delta menggunakan one way-ANOVA. Proses pengambilan data dilakukan dengan pemberian perlakuan sport massage, bekam, sport massage dan bekam selama pretest dan posttest. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah atlet cabang olahraga atletik yang berlatih di KONI Tuban berjumlah 40 Atlet. Hasil penelitian berupa eksperimen menunjukkan kombinasi sport massage dan bekam lebih efektif dalam menurunkanasam laktat dan heart rate dibandingkan bekam, sport massage dan tanpa perlakuan. Dari hasil penelitian terdapat rerata penurunan asam laktat pada sport massage dan bekam sebesar 4,70±2,69 mmol/L lebih besar dari pada asam laktat bekam sebesar 1,43±2,59 mmol/L, sport massage sebesar 2,21±1,95 mmol/L, dan tanpa perlakuan sebesar 0,75±2,17 mmol/L. Rerata penurunan heart rate pada kelompok kombinasi sport massage dan bekam ditemukan juga lebih besar, yaitu 27,60±8,97 bpm, dibandingkan bekam sebesar 12,00±19,07 bpm, sport massage sebesar 7,30±9,46 bpm, sedangkan tanpa perlakuan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 9,80±22,13 bpm. Disimpulkan bahwa metode kombinasi sport massage dan bekam efektif dalam menurunkan asam laktat dan heart rate setelah HIIT.
The purpose of this study was to prove the effect of sports massage, cupping, and a combination of sport massage and cupping on changes in heart rate, lactic acid in athletes after high-intensity interval training (HIIT). This research was a quantitative research with quasi-experimental methods. In this study there are several groups, among others; group I sport massage (n = 10), group II cupping (n= 10), group III sport massage and cupping (n = 10), and group IV no treatment (n = 10). Data analysis was performed using a paired sample t-test and a different test for delta values using one way-ANOVA. The data collection process was carried out by giving sports massage, cupping, sports massage and cupping treatment during the pretest and posttest. The target of this research were 40 athletes practicing athletics at KONI Tuban. The results of the research in the form of experiments showed that the combination of sports massage and cupping was more effective in reducing lactic acid and heart rate than cupping, sport massage and no treatment. From the results of the study, there was an average decrease in lactic acid in sports massage and cupping of 4.70 ± 2.69 mmol/L, which was greater than lactic acid cupping of 1.43 ± 2.59 mmol/L, sports massage of 2.21 ± 1.95 mmol/L, and 0.75 ± 2.17 mmol/L without treatment. The mean decrease in heart rate in the combination sport massage and cupping group was also found to be greater, namely 27.60 ± 8.97 bpm, compared to cupping of 12.00 ± 19.07 bpm, sport massage of 7.30 ± 9.46 bpm, while without treatment it increased by 9.80 ± 22.13 bpm. It was concluded that the combination method of sport massage and cupping was effective in reducing lactic acid and heart rate after HIIT.
