APPLICATION OF INTEGRATED PBL MODEL WITH CLIMATE ACTION TO IMPROVE STUDENTS' SCIENTIFIC LITERACY AT MA MATHOLI'UL ANWAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterlaksanaan, peningkatan, dan respon peserta didik terhadap penerapan model PBL terintegrasi aksi iklim untuk meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik di MA Matholi’ul Anwar. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan true experiment control group pretest and posttest design. Subjek penelitian ini dari kelas X.1, X.2, dan X.9 MA Matholi’ul Anwar tahun ajaran 2023-2024 secara random sampling dengan kelas X.1 sebagai kelas kontrol, X.2 sebagai kelas eksperimen 1, dan X.9 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2. Data hasil penelitian diolah melalui perhitungan analisis keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, uji prasyarat yang meliputi uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, uji Wilcoxon, analisis N-gain, uji Kruskal-Wallis, dan analisis effect size, serta lembar angket respon peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa (1) keterlaksanaan penerapan model PBL terintegrasi aksi iklim untuk meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik terlaksana dengan kategori sangat baik, (2) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan model PBL secara signifikan, dengan kelas eksperimen 1 mengalami peningkatan lebih tinggi dari kelas eksperimen 2 dan kelas kontrol yang ditunjukkan dari hasil analisis n-gain yaitu skor 0,87 di kelas eksperimen 1, skor 0,79 di kelas eksperimen 2, dan skor 0,76 di kelas kontrol, sehingga menunjukkan penerapan model PBL terintegrasi aksi iklim efektif untuk diterapkan, (3) respon peserta didik setelah diterapkan model PBL terintegrasi aksi iklim memperoleh hasil dalam kategori sangat baik. Implikasi dari penelitian adalah peserta didik menunjukkan sikap peduli lingkungan, yaitu melakukan reboisasi, 3R, dan menghemat energi.

This research aims to analyze the implementation, improvement and response of students to the implementation of the integrated PBL model for climate action to increase students' scientific literacy at MA Matholi'ul Anwar. This type of research uses quantitative research with a true experiment control group pretest and posttest design. The subjects of this research were from classes X.1, 9 as an experimental class 2. Research data is processed through learning implementation analysis calculations, prerequisite tests which include normality test and homogeneity test, Wilcoxon test, N-gain analysis, Kruskal-Wallis test, and effect size analysis, as well as student response questionnaire sheets . Based on the research results, it was concluded that (1) the implementation of the integrated PBL model for climate action to increase students' scientific literacy was carried out in the very good category, (2) there were significant differences in students' scientific literacy abilities before and after the implementation of the PBL model. Experimental class 1 experienced a higher increase than experimental class 2 and the control class as shown by the results of the n-gain analysis, namely a score of 0.87 in experimental class 1, a score of 0.79 in experimental class 2, and a score of 0.76 in the control class, so that shows that the implementation of the integrated PBL model for climate action is effective, (3) the response of students after applying the integrated PBL model for climate action obtained results in the very good category. The implication of the research is that students show an attitude of caring about the environment, namely carrying out reforestation, 3R, and saving energy.
