Penelitian ini berupaya mengembangkan media pembelajaran menulis teks cerita fantasi berbasis aplikasi android “Ayo Berfantasi”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan dan kualitas media menulis teks cerita fantasi berbasis aplikasi android “Ayo Berfantasi” bagi siswa SMP Kelas VII. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Researchs and Development /R&D). Penelitian pengembangan media ini didasarkan pada model pengembangan Four-D yang disarankan oleh Thiagarajan, dkk. (1974). Subjek uji coba adalah siswa kelas VII yang mengikuti Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Uji coba kelompok kecil dilakukan pada 12 siswa secara acak sebagai perwakilan dari kelas VII A – VII E masing-masing dua dan tiga orang, sedangkan uji coba kelompok besar dilakukan pada kelas VII D dengan jumlah 35 siswa. Data penelitian ini berfokus pada proses pengembangan dan kualitas media dalam pembelajaran. Data proses pengembangan diperoleh dari studi pustaka, wawancara dan diskusi, validasi, angket, dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Data kualitas media diperoleh dari hasil uji coba produk.
Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) deskripsi proses pengembangan media berbasis aplikasi android “Ayo Berfantasi” dirancang melalui tiga tahap yakni pendefinisian, perencanaan, dan pengembangan, dan (2) deskripsi kualitas media pengembangan berbasis aplikasi android “Ayo Berfantasi” berdasarkan produk yang diuji melalui kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Hasil penelitian kevalidan media diperoleh dari penilaian tim validator sebesar (96%) dengan kategori sangat valid. Data kepraktisan media diperoleh dari hasil penilaian pengamat terhadap keterlaksanaan RPP sebesar (92%) dengan kategori sangat baik, respon siswa (80%) dengan kategori positif dan adanya kendala lapangan yang dapat teratasi. Data keefektifan media diperoleh dari aktivitas siswa (84%) dengan kategori baik, aktivitas guru (93%) dengan kategori sangat baik, dan hasil ketuntasan belajar siswa (91%) dengan kategori tuntas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran menulis teks cerita fantasi berbasis aplikasi android “Ayo Berfantasi” bagi siswa kelas VII SMP dinilai sangat berkualitas dan layak diterapkan.

This research is conducted to develop learning media to write fantasy story text based on android application “Ayo Berfantasi”. This research is intended to describe the development process and the quality of the media in writing fantasy text based on the android application “Ayo Berfantasi” for Class VII SMP. This type of research is Research and Development/R&D. This research based on the Four-D model development suggested by Thiagarajan, dkk. (1974). The trial subject is students grade VII who follow Indonesian Language Learning. The small group trial was conducted on 12 students random as representatives of classes VII A - VII E, respectively two and three people, while the large group trial was carried out in class VII D with a total of 35 students. This research data focuses on the development process and the quality of media in learning. Development process data obtained from literature study, interview and discussion, validation, questionnaire, and students achievement test. The media quality data obtained from results of the product trials.
The results of research is (1) description of the process of development media based on an android application “Ayo Berfantasi” that be planned from three stages are defining, planning, and developing, and (2) description of the quality of development media based on android application “Ayo Berfantasi” based on the product tested through the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results of the research on the validity of the media were obtained from the evaluation of the validator team (96%) with the very valid category. Data on the practicality media result obtained from assessment observer of the implementation of RPP (92%) with the very good category, students response (80%) in the positive category and presence obstacle which can be resolved. Data of effectiveness media result obtained from student activity (84%) with good category, teacher activity (93%) with very good category, and students learning completeness results (91%) with a complete category. Based on analysis data result, can be concluded that the learning media for writing fantasy story text based on the android application “Ayo Berfantasi” for VII SMP are considered to be of high quality and feasible to be applied.
