Based on the results of pre-survey
measurements in the field using a CO2 meter, the average result was 538 ppm.
These results exceed the clean air threshold according to WHO in (Harista,
2018), namely 310-330 ppm. This research aims to determine 1) CO2 concentration on Jalan Margomulyo,
Jalan Margomulyo Indah, Jalan Margomulyo Permai and Jalan Sari Mulia Permai,
Surabaya City. 2) The amount of CO2 absorption by RTH on Jalan Margomulyo,
Jalan Margomulyo Indah, Jalan Margomulyo Permai and Jalan Sari Mulia Permai,
Surabaya City
The type of research used is survey.
This research is located in Tandes District with an area of 11.07 km2 and
Asemrowo District with an area of 13.06 km2 in the City of Surabaya. The
tools and materials needed are a CO2 meter and GPS. The population used is
based on the administrative division of Tandes District. Sampling uses a box
model which is usually called an analysis unit with a size of 30x30 meters. CO2 measurements were carried out for 24
hours, namely Monday to Sunday, 22 – 28 May 2023. Documentation was carried out
to obtain secondary results from the green open space area per unit of
analysis. Observations were carried out to observe conditions in the field.
Analysis of simple correlation and linear regression data

The CO2 concentration on Jalan Margomulyo is highest during the day, reaching
419 ppm, on Jalan Margomulyo Permai the highest in the afternoon, reaching 407
ppm, on Jalan Margomulyo Indah the highest during the day, reaching 409 ppm and
on Jalan Sari Mulia Permai is highest during the day, reaching 399 ppm 2) The

Jalan Sari Mulia Permai is 99 .5%
