The Role Of Parents Accompanied Early Childhood Learning At The Time Of The Covid-19 Pandemic
Pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda umat seluruh dunia memberi dampak pada segala sektor terutama sektor ekonomi dan pendidikan. Seperti pada umumnya pembelajaran dilakukan secara tatap muka akan tetapi saat ini pembelajaran diterapkan dengan sistem daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan secara mendetail perihal keefektifan peran yang dimiliki orang tua dalam membimbing anak mereka yang merupakan anak usia dini ditengah kondisi pandemi Covid-19 ini. Penelitian ini dilangsungkan pada orang tua yang berdomisili di RW 2 Karangpilang, Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan kuisioner yang diselenggarakan secara offline dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini terbukti bahwa mayoritas orang tua kurang efektif dalam menjalankan perannya dalam menggantikan posisi guru saat diterapkannya sistem pembelajaran daring seperti saat ini. Seperti ketika penerapan sistem belajar melalui daring, guru akan memberikan materi pembelajaran kepada orang tua, dan orang tua dapat mengajarkan pada anak dengan tambahan ide kreatif agar pembelajaran tersebut menarik bagi anak, dan jika materi yang disampaikan kepada anak dapat menarik perhatiannya, maka pembelajaran akan menjadi lebih efektif. Namun, masih banyak orang tua yang belum paham dengan perannya sebagai guru pertama bagi anak-anaknya.

The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the whole world has had an impact on all sectors, especially the economic and education sectors. As in general, learning is done face-to-face but currently learning is applied with a bold system. This study aims to describe in detail the date of the role that parents have in guiding their children who are early childhood in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted on parents who live in RW 2 Karangpilang, Surabaya. This study uses the method of observation, interviews, and questionnaires which are held offline with a descriptive qualitative type of research. The results of this study prove that most parents are less effective in implementing the use of the learning system they are currently implementing. For example, when implementing a learning system through courage, the teacher will provide learning materials to parents, and parents can teach children with additional creative ideas so that learning is interesting for children, and if the material presented to children can attract their attention, then learning will become a learning process. more effective. However, there are still many parents who do not understand how to use them as the first teacher for their children.
