Keterampilan membaca notasi balok merupakan komponen penting pada perkembangan Rosa Mystica Choir. Fenomena terkait keterampilan membaca notasi balok anggota Rosa Mystica Choir dipaparkan secara kualitatif deskriptif, sehingga dapat di deskripsikan pola perlatihan yang membentuk keterampilan membaca notasi balok. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis keterampilan Rosa Mystica Choir dalam membaca dan menerapkan notasi balok secara tepat. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori kognitif Piaget, yang terdiri dari tahap asimilasi, tahap akomodasi, dan tahap equilibrasi. Melalui pendekatan kognitif Piaget, maka proses latihan anggota Rosa Mystica Choir terlaksana secara terstruktur; di mana setiap materi yang dilatihkan bersifat untuk mengasah keterampilan membaca notasi balok dan bernyanyi para anggota. Selain itu, peran pelatih juga vital, oleh karena pelatih lah yang mendampingi dan memantau perkembangan dari setiap anggota. Dengan demikian, sintaks pelatihan dan pendampingan pelatih inilah yang menjadi kunci keberhasilan Rosa Mystica Choir, tidak hanya dalam pengembangan keterampilan anggota, juga dalam meraih prestasi kompetisi kancah nasional dan internasional.
The skill of reading block notation is an important component in the development of the Rosa Mystica Choir. Phenomena related to the skill of reading block notation of members of the Rosa Mystica Choir are described qualitatively descriptively, so that it can be described the pattern of practice that forms the skill of reading block notation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the skills of the Rosa Mystica Choir in reading and applying block notation correctly. The theory used is Piaget's cognitive theory, which consists of the assimilation stage, accommodation stage, and equilibration stage. Through Piaget's cognitive approach, the training process for members of the Rosa Mystica Choir is carried out in a structured manner; where each material that is trained is to hone the members' reading and singing skills. In addition, the role of the coach is also vital, because it is the coach who accompanies and monitors the progress of each member. Thus, this syntax of training and mentoring of trainers is the key to the success of the Rosa Mystica Choir, not only in developing member skills, but also in achieving national and international competition achievements.
