Sebagai negara pengakses internet terbanyak nomor lima di dunia, Indonesia sering dijadikan pangsa pasar oleh pengguna media sosial untuk menghasilkan pundi-pundi materi. Salah satunya adalah lewat media sosial Youtube. Pembuat konten (Youtuber), baik dari dalam maupun luar negeri, saling berlomba dalam membuat konten agar dapat menarik minat netizen di Indonesia. Salah satu Youtuber luar negeri yang melakukan hal tersebut ialah Genki. Genki merupakan seorang public figure dari Jepang yang tinggal di Indonesia. Dalam konten yang dibuat terjadi sebuah fenomena campur kode. Dikatakan demikian karena Genki melafalkan dua bahasa secara bersamaan, yaitu bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Jepang. Jika diperbandingkan, bahasa Indonesia yang sering digunakan dalam berdialog. Meski tergolong lancar, namun beberapa kali dijumpai perbedaan bunyi dalam bahasa yang dilafalkan.
Skripsi yang berjudul Fitur-fitur Distingtif Pelafalan Bunyi Bahasa Indonesia oleh Youtuber Jepang (Studi Kasus: Genki) ini berusaha untuk membedah perbedaan apa saja yang ditemukan dalam pelafalan bahasa Indonesia oleh Genki. Dari penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, perbedaan dibedakan atas tiga jenis, yaitu: (1) perubahan ciri distingtif (bunyi [ u ] menjadi [ ɯ ], [ ʊ ] menjadi [ ɯ ], dan [ ɪ ] menjadi [ I ], bunyi [ l ] menjadi [ ɾ ], [ r ] menjadi [ ɾ ], [ s ] menjadi [ t͡s ], dan [ n ] menjadi [ ŋ ]); (2) pelesapan segmen bunyi (pelesapan bunyi [ ɾ ], bunyi [ n ], bunyi [ ʔ ], serta bunyi sertaan [ m ]); dan (3) penambahan segmen bunyi (bunyi [ g ], [ o ], [ ɯ ], [ I ], dan [ ə ]).
Beberapa perbedaan di atas ditemukan di beberapa kondisi. Dalam penelitian ini, perbedaan akan dijelaskan dengan merujuk pada fitur-fitur distingtif yang dimiliki oleh bunyi. Penjabaran fitur-fitur distingtif tersebut nantinya akan berlanjut pada penjelasan perbedaan kondisi antara organ wicara Genki dengan pelafal asli bahasa Indonesia. Tahap selanjutnya perbedaan tersebut akan ditulis dalam bentuk kaidah atau rumus fonologis sesuai dengan prinsip aliran Fonologi Generatif.
As the fifth largest internet access country in the world, Indonesia is often used as a market share by users of social media to produce material coffers. One of them is via social media Youtube. Content creators (Youtuber), both from within and outside the country, compete with each other in making content as attractive as possible in order to attract the interest of netizens in Indonesia. One of the overseas Youtuber who did this was Genki. Genki is a public figure from Japan who lives in Indonesia. In the video content created, there is a phenomenon of code mixing. Said so because Genki recited two language simultaneously, namely Indonesian language and Japanese. If compared, Indonesian language is often used in dialogue. Although classified as smooth, but several times found differences in sound in the language that is pronounced.
The thesis entitled Distinguishing Features of the Sounding of Indonesian Language by Youtuber Japan (Case Study: Genki) attempts to dissect any differences found in the pronunciation of Indonesian by Genki. From the research that has been done, the differences are divided into three types, namely: (1) distinctive character changes (sounds [u] to [ɯ], [ʊ] to [ɯ], and [ɪ] to [I], sounds [l ] becomes [ɾ], [r] becomes [ɾ], [s] becomes [t͡s], and [n] becomes [ŋ]); (2) sound segment settling (sound blasting [ɾ], sound [n], sound [ʔ], and sound inclusion [m]); and (3) addition of sound segments (sounds [g], [o], [ɯ], [I], and [ə]).
Some of the differences above are found in several conditions. In this study, differences will be explained by referring to the distinctive features of sound. The description of these distinctive features will then continue to explain the differences in conditions between Genki's speech organs and the original Indonesian pronunciation. The next stage of the difference will be written in the form of a rule or phonological formula in accordance with the principles of Generative Phonology.
