Gaya Kepemimpinan Demokratis Kepala Desa "Siadadi" Kecamatan Kenduruan Kabupaten Tuban
Democratic Leadership Style of the Village Head of "Siadadi" Kenduruan District, Tuban Regency
Penelitian ini membahas terkait dengan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis Kepala desa “Siadadi”Kecamatan Kenduruan Kabupaten Tuban. Pemimpin yang ada dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala desa dimana termasuk sosok pemimpin yang dihormati dan disegani oleh bawahannya. Pemimpin yang memberikan petunjuk kepada bawahan, melibatkan anggotanya untuk turut serta dalam menyampaikan usulan maupun pendapat. Namun peneliti menemukan jika kepala desa dalam kepemimpinannya dalam hal pengambilan keputusan dikategorikan lambat karena dengan menggunakan kepemimpinan demokratis cenderung menunggu masukan dan saran dari bawahan, mengakibatkan keterlambatan dalam mengambil keputusan bukan hanya itu kurang tegasnya kepala desa mengakibatkan bawahan sering terlambat saat jam kantor, sehingga masyarakat banyak yang mengeluh.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis kepala Desa “Siadadi”Kecamatan Kenduruan Kabupaten Tuban, metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan fokus penelitian yang digunakan yakni pendelegasian tanggung jawab, keaktifan, pengambilan keputusan, empati. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan demokratis di Desa “Siadadi”belum berjalan secara optimal. Pendelegasian tanggung jawab belum terstruktur dengan baik, karena sebagian besar inisiatif datang dari masyarakat bukan dari pemerintah desa. Keaktifan kepala desa masih bersifat simbolik, lebih banyak mengandalkan perangkat desa dalam menjalin komunikasi dengan masyarakat. Dalam aspek pengambilan keputusan, meskipun pelibatan masyarakat sudah dilakukan melalui musyawarah desa, masih ditemukan keterlambatan informasi dan ketidakterlibatan sebagian warga. Sementara itu, empati yang ditunjukkan oleh kepala desa bersifat situasional dan belum merata dirasakan seluruh masyarakat. Kesimpulannya, penerapan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis oleh Kepala Desa “Siadadi” perlu ditingkatkan terutama dalam aspek komunikasi langsung dengan masyarakat, konsistensi empati, serta pelibatan aktif warga secara menyeluruh dalam proses pemerintahan desa.

This research discusses the democratic leadership style of the Head of “Siadadi”Village, Kenduruan District, Tuban Regency. The leader in this research is the village head, who is a leader who is respected and respected by his subordinates. Leaders who provide instructions to subordinates involve their members to participate in conveying suggestions and opinions. However, researchers found that the village head in his leadership in terms of decision making was categorized as slow because by using democratic leadership he tended to wait for input and suggestions from subordinates, resulting in delays in making decisions. Not only that, the village head's lack of firmness resulted in subordinates often being late during office hours, so that many people who complained.
The purpose of this study is to describe the democratic leadership style of the head of “Siadadi”Village, Kenduruan District, Tuban Regency, the method used is descriptive qualitative with the focus of the research used, namely delegation of responsibility, activeness, decision making, empathy. Data collection techniques using interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the democratic leadership style in “Siadadi”Village has not been running optimally. Delegation of responsibility has not been well structured, because most initiatives come from the community, not from the village government. The village head's activeness is still symbolic, relying more on village officials in establishing communication with the community. In terms of decision making, although community involvement has been carried out through village deliberations, there are still delays in information and the lack of involvement of some residents. Meanwhile, the empathy shown by the village head is situational and has not been evenly felt by the entire community. In conclusion, the application of a democratic leadership style by the Head of “Siadadi”Village needs to be improved, especially in terms of direct communication with the community, consistency of empathy, and active involvement of residents as a whole in the village government process
