Pengembangan Buku Panduan Stimulus Sensori Anak Tunagrahita Bagi Guru Di SLB
The development of a Handbook for Sensory Stimulus for Children with Impairment for Teachers in Special Education Schools
ABSTRAK
Sensori integrasi adalah proses mengenal merubah, membedakan sensasi yang bersumber dari sistem sensori untuk memunculkan respon yang bertujuan. Ditahun 1972, A Jean Ayres menyatakan bahwa penglihatan, pendengaran taktil, vestibular, proprioseptif diakibatkan pengaruh dari sistem sensori. Hal – hal inilah yang akan menjadi pemicu tumbuh kembang anak. Dapat dikatakan jika input sensori dapat diterjemahkan dengan baik oleh sistem sensori maka tumbuh kembang anak akan berkembang dengan baik. Dengan memahami sensori integrasi maka diharapkan guru mampu membuat program yang tepat sasaran bagi anak-anak dan tumbuh kembang anak dapat berkembang secara maksimal. Pengembangan Buku Panduan Stimulus Sensori Anak Tunagrahita Bagi Guru Di SLB ini sebagai upaya memberi pelayanan maksimal bagi anak dengan gangguan sensori.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R&D). Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada model pengembangan menurut Thiagarajan (1974) yang dikenal dengan Model 4-D terdiri dari 4 tahap pengembangan, yaitu difine, design, develop, disseminate, tetapi dikarenakan kondisi pandemi diadaptasi menjadi model 3-D hanya sampai pada tahap develop dengan uji kelayakan dengan validasi ahli.
Hasil dari penelitian ini dengan uji kelayakan dari tiga validator, meliputi ahli materi, ahli media dan ahli pendidikan khusus menyatakan bahwa Pengembangan Buku Panduan Stimulus Sensori Anak Tunagrahita Bagi Guru Di SLB ini sangat layak digunakan. Rekomendasi peneliti di era sekarang ganguan sensoris bisa dialami siapa saja tak terkecuali anak non-SLB. Gangguan sensoris bisa diperoleh anak sejak lahir tetapi juga bisa diperoleh karena factor lingkungan. Dengan Buku Panduan Stimulus Sensori dapat dijadikan dasar penanganan anak dengan gangguan sensoris

ABSTRACT
Sensory integration is the process of recognizing change, differentiating sensations that come from the sensory system to generate a purposeful response. In 1972, A Jean Ayres stated that sight, tactile hearing, vestibular, proprioceptive effects of the sensory system. These things will trigger the child's growth and development. It can be said that if sensory input can be translated properly by the sensory system, the child's development will develop properly. By understanding the sensory of integration, it is hoped that the teacher will be able to make programs that are right on target for children and that children's growth and development can develop optimally. The development of a Handbook for Sensory Stimulus for Children with Impairment for Teachers in special schools is an effort to provide maximum service for children with sensory disorders.
This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of research and development Research and Development (R & D). The design used in this study refers to the development model according to Thiagarajan (1974) which is known as the 4-D Model consisting of 4 development stages, namely defining, design, develop, disseminate, but due to pandemic conditions it has been adapted to a 3-D model only up to the develop stage with a feasibility test with expert validation.
The results of this study with the feasibility test of three validators, including material experts, media experts and special education experts stated that the Development of Sensory Stimulus Guidebook for Children with Impairment for Teachers in special schools is very feasible to use. The recommendation of researchers in the current era of sensory disturbances can be experienced by anyone, including non-special school children. Sensory disturbances can be acquired by children from birth but can also be acquired due to environmental factors. With the Sensory Stimulus Handbook, it can be used as a basis for treating children with sensory disorders
