Lining merupakan bahan pelapis berupa kain yang melapisi bahan utama sebagaian maupun seluruhnya. Bahan lining sering juga disebut dengan furing. Rumusan masalah 1) Untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil jadi jenis lining antara bahan katun dan linen pada gaun pesta anak. 2) Untuk mengetahui hasil jadi terbaik gaun pesta anak menggunakan lining katun dan linen. Tujuan penelitian ini 1) untuk mengetahui perbedaan anatar  lining katun dan linen pada gaun pesta anak 2) untuk mengetahui hasil jadi gaun pesta anak yang terbaik antara menggunakan lining katun dan linen

Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen. Variabel bebas menggunakan lining katun dan linen, Variabel terikat yaitu hasil jadi gaun pesta anak dengan aspek kesesuaian lining dan kerapian. Metode pengumpulan data adalah metode observasi dan analisis data menggunakan uji t dengan program SPSS 20 dengan  < 0,05.

Berdasarkan uji t menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan hasil jadi gaun pesta anak pada lining katun dan linen  ditinjau dari aspek taraf signifikan sebesar-6.943 yaitu Kesesuaian lining untuk busana pesta anak dan Kerapian dan peletakan lining dengan bentuk. Hasil jadi gaun pesta anak yang terbaik ditinjau dari aspek Kesesuaian lining untuk busana pesta anak dan Kerapian dan peletakan lining dengan bentuk yaitu hasil jadi gaun pesta anak dengan lining katun

Lining is a coating material in the form of cloth that lines the main material partially or completely. Lining material is often also called furing. The purpose of this study 1) to find out the results of different types of lining in children’s party dresses with cotton and linen 2) to determine the effect of lining material on cotton and linen on children’s party dresses 3) to find out the difference between the types of lining on the best children’s party dresses by using cotton and linen lining in terms of the suitability aspect of lining for children’s party wear and neatness and laying lining with shape.

The type of lining is a Variable experimental study : differences in the types of lining of cotton and linen, the dependent variable : the result of being a child’s party dress. Data collection method is the method of obdervation and data analysis using the t test with SPSS 20 program with < 0.05

Based on the t test shows there are differences in the results of the party dresses for children on the lining of cotton and linen in terms of 2 aspects, namely suitability lining for children’s party wear and neatness and laying lining with shapes. The results become the best children’s party dresses in terms of the suitability aspect of lining for children’s party wear and neatness and laying lining with a form that is the result of being a children’s party dress with cotton lining.
