Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara teoritik dan empiris pengaruh keterlibatan orang tua, dukungan teman sebaya terhadap perencanaan karier siswa di SMPN Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Ada 2 variabel bebas dan 1 variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini, yaitu (1) Keterlibatan orang tua, (2) Dukungan teman sebaya dan (3) Perencanaan karier.
Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian yaitu siswa yang bersekolah di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Pengambilan dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 235 siswa SMP dilakukan dengan teknik sampel random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian berupa 3 kuesioner yaitu keterlibatan orang tua, dukungan teman sebaya dan perencanaan karier. Instrumen ketiga alat ukur tersebut dikonstruksikan dengan model skala likert.
Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS 22. Dasar pengambilan keputusan teknik ini didasarkan pada uji F dan Uji t. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu 1) terdapat pengaruh keterlibatan orang tua terhadap perencanaan karier secara parsial, 2) tidak terdapat pengaruh dukungan teman sebaya terhadap perencanaan karier, 3) terdapat pengaruh keterlibatan orang tua dan dukungan teman sebaya terhadap perencanaan karier secara simultan, 4) terdapat sumbangan SE sebanyak 99,66% dan SE sebanyak 28.10%, 5) Dari dua variabel bebas, variabel keterlibatan orang tua yang paling berpengaruh terhadap perencanaan karier siswa. Adapun rekomendasi khususnya guru bimbingan dan konseling agar meningkatkan perencanaan karier siswa dengan keterlibatan orang tua dan dukungan teman sebaya, diadakannya program parenting atau pertemuan orang tua untuk membahas perkembangan karier anak.
This study aims to test teoritic and empiric an influence of parent involvement and Peer Support on student career planning of state junior high school regency sidoarjo. There are 2 independen variables and 1 dependent variable in this study, namely : (1) parenting involvement (2) Peer Support (3) career planning.
This study uses a type of quantitative research. The population in this study were student who attended in state junior high school. Sampling is done by 235 sample random sampling. There are 3 (three) questionnaire to measure the level of parent involvement, Peer Support and career planning of state junior high school regency sidoarjo. measuring tools used in this study is the scale of parent involvement, Peer Support and career planning constructed with likert scaling model.
Data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 22 program. The basis of decision making if the F test and t test. The result obtained are : (1) there are influences of parent involvement the career planning both partially, (2) no there are influences of Peer Support the career planning, 3) there are influences of parent involvement and peer support the career planning both simultaneously, 4) There are SE donations 99.66% and SR donations of 28.10%, 5) of the two independent variables (parenting involvement and Peer Support) parenting involvement is the most influential on career planning. The recommendations that can be given by the author guidance and counseling teacher to improve student career planning with the need for parenting involvement and high peer support, the was given program guidance and counseling career in the school, holding parenting about the development of childrens career.
