NILAI KARAKTER DALAM NOVEL ANAK AKU, MEPS, DAN BEPS KARYA SOCA SOBHITA DAN REDA GAUDIAMO

VALUE OF CHARACTER IN THE CHILDREN'S NOVEL ME, MEPS, AND BEPS BY SOCA SOBHITA AND REDA GAUDIAMO

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai karakter dalam novel anak Aku, Meps, dan Beps karya Soca Sobhita dan Reda Gaudiamo.Terdapat 3 aspek nilai karakter yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini: (1) nilai pengetahuan moral yang ditunjukkan oleh pikiran tokoh dalam novel, (2) nilai perasaan moral yang dirasakan oleh tokoh dalam novel, (3) nilai perilaku yang digambarkan oleh perbuatan tokoh dalam novel. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik penelitian studi pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini pertama aspek nilai pengetahuan moral yang teridentifikasi dalam novel ada lima nilai karakter yaitu: pengetahuan pribadi, pemikiran moral, penentuan prespektif, pengambilan keputusan, mengetahui nilai moral. Kedua aspek nilai perasaan moral yang teridentifikasi dalam novel ada empat nilai karakter yaitu: mencintai hal yang baik, empati, harga diri, hati nurani. Ketiga aspek nilai tindakan moral yang teridentifikasi dalam novel ada tiga nilai karakter yaitu: kompetensi, keinginan, kebiasaan.

This study aims to describe the character values in the children's novel Aku, Meps, and Beps by Soca Sobhita and Reda Gaudiamo. There are 3 aspects of character values used in this study: (1) the value of moral knowledge shown by the thoughts of the characters in the novel, (2) the value of moral feelings felt by the characters in the novel, (3) the value of behavior described by the actions of the characters in the novel. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with literature study research techniques. The results of this study first show that the aspects of moral knowledge values identified in the novel are fivecharacter values, namely: personal knowledge, moral thinking, perspective determination, decision making, knowing moral values. The two aspects of the value of moral feelings identified in the novel are fivecharacter values, namely: loving good things, self-control, empathy, self-esteem, conscience. The three aspects of moral action values identified in the novel are threecharacter values, namely: competence, desire, habit.
