ANALISIS PERSEDIAAN MATERIAL PADA INDUSTRI KONSTRUKSI BETON READY MIX (PT. MOTIVE MULIA)
MATERIAL INVENTORY ANALYSYS WITH MATERIAL REQUIREMENT PLANNING (MRP) METHOD IN READY MIX CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY (PT. MOTIVE MULIA)
Kegiatan produksi pada industri konstruksi sangat berkaitan dengan persediaan material. Namun, dalam proses pengadaan material tentu juga berhadapan dengan sebuah risiko. Risiko yang terjadi apabila pengadaan material tidak direncanakan dengan baik yaitu penumpukan material di wilayah industri yang menyebabkan biaya penyimpanan meningkat. Selain itu, masalah lain timbul akibat penumpukan yaitu kerusakan material yang menyebabkan berkurangnya persediaan. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan perencanaan persediaan material yang matang agar proses produksi dapat berjalan dengan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan teknik lot sizing manakah yang tepat untuk digunakan oleh PT. Motive Mulia dan menghasilkan total biaya persediaan paling optimum. Kebutuhan material penyusun ready mix dilakukan dengan peramalan menggunakan tiga cara yaitu Simple Moving Average, Weighted Moving Average, dan Exponential Smoothing. Analisa kebutuhan material untuk ready mix dengan empat mutu (K-275, K-300, K-350, dan K-400) dilakukan dengan menggunakan tiga teknik lotting yaitu teknik Lot for Lot, Fixed Period Requirement, dan Fixed Order Quantity. Berdasarkan analisa perhitungan peramalan yang telah dilakukan, total kebutuhan material untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tahun 2021 sebesar 134.167 zak semen, 10.772 m3 pasir, 12.042 m3 split, dan 29.870 L retarder. Total biaya persediaan paling optimum didapatkan dengan menggunakan teknik Lot for Lot. Dihasilkan total biaya persediaan material semen sebesar Rp 7.070.642.900,00; pasir sebesar Rp 477.087.714,29; split sebesar Rp 584.939.142,86; dan retarder sebesar Rp 1.288.036.400.

Production activities in the construction industry are closely related to material supplies. However, there must be a risk while the process of material procurement occurs. When the procurement of materials does not plan properly, it will hoard materials in industrial areas which also increases the storage cost. Another risk that also occur due to hoarding is material damage which will reduce the inventory. Therefore, meticulous inventory arrangement is require to make sure production process can be run efficiently. This study aims to determine the appropriate lot sizing technique to be used by PT. Motive Mulia and obtain the most optimum inventory cost. The material requirements for the ready mix are forecasted using three methods, i.e. Simple Moving Average, Weighted Moving Average, and Exponential Smoothing. Analysis of material requirements for ready mix with these four qualities is carried out using three lotting techniques, namely the Lot for Lot, Fixed Period Requirement, and Fixed Order Quantity. Based on the forecasting analysis of the calculations that have been carried out, the total material requirements to fulfill the needs on 2021 are 134,167 sacks of cement, 10,772 m3 of sand, 12,042 m3 of split, and 29,870 litres of retarder. The most optimum total inventory cost is obtained by using the Lot for Lot technique. The inventory cost of cement material is Rp 7,070,642,900.00; sand material is Rp 477,087,714.29; split material is Rp 584,939,142.86; and retarder is Rp 1,288,036,400.
