PENGARUH MEDIA GAMBAR ANIMASI TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MENULIS PUISI SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

THE EFFECT OF ANIMATED IMAGE MEDIA ON THE POERTY WRITING SKILLS ON CLASS IV ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media gambar animasi dalam keterampilan menulis 

puisi terhadap siswa kelas IV SDN Bendul Merisi 408 Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekaan 

kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen. Metode yang digunakan dalam rancangan penelitian ini adalah quasi 

eksperimen dengan tipe Non Randomize Control Group Pretest and Posttest Design. Sampel yang 

digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan melibatkan dua kelas yakni kelas kontrol yang diterapkan pada 

kelas IVA dan kelas eksperimen yang diterapkan pada kelas IVB. Teknik pengambilan data pada 

penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data dilalukan dengan menggunakan 

uji independent t test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil nilai Thitung sebesar 

2,190 dengan nilai Ttabel sebesar 1,734, (2,190 > 1,734) artinya terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil 

keterampilan menulis puisi antara kelas yang mendapat perlakuan dengan menggunakan media gambar 

animasi dengan kelas yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensioanal. Dalam hal ini nilai Thitung berada 

pada peneriaman Ha dan penolakan Ho. Pada kelas eksperimen, rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 61,1 dan 

rata-rata nilai posttest sebesar 85,7. Pada hasil tersebut dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa media gambar 

animasi berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.

This research aim to determine the effect of animated image media in poetry writing skills on fourth grade 

students at SDN Bendul Merisi 408 Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of 

experiment. The method used in this research design is a quasi-experimental type of Non-Randomize 

Control Group Pretest and Posttest Design. The sample use in this study involved two classes, namely the 

control class which is applie to class IVA and the experimental class which is applie to class IVB. The data 

collection technique in this study use observation and test techniques. The data analysis technique was 

carrie out using the independent t test. Based on the results of the research conducted, it was obtained that 

the Tcount was 2,190 with a Ttable value of 1,734, (2,190 > 1,734) meaning that there was a difference in 

the average results of poetry writing skills between classes that received treatment using animated image 

media and classes that used conventional learning. In this case, the value of Tcount is in the acceptance of 

Ha and the rejection of Ho. In the experimental class, the average pretest score was 61.1 and the posttest 

average was 85.7. From these results, it can be concluded that the animated image media has an effect on 

the poetry writing skills of fourth grade elementary school students
