Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh media Miksupaja terhadap keterampilan membaca siswa kelas V SDN Kebraon I/436 Surabaya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan non equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDN Kebraon I/436 Surabaya. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data yang digunakan yaitu hasil belajar siswa melalui pretest dan posttest yang diolah dengan statistik parametrik dan uji-t dua sampel independen.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen sebesar 49,04 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 44,96. Sementara itu, hasil perolehan nilai rata-rata posttest di kelas eksperimen sebesar 73,33 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 65,62. Penghitungan uji hipotesis diperoleh uji t-test pretest kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,01 < 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima atau terdapat perbedaan yang bermana antara selisih hasil posttest kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen. Atau yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pemberian perlakuan berupa penggunaan media MIKSUPAJA terhadap hasil belajar materi aksara Jawa pada siswa. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara media Miksupaja terhadap keterampilan membaca siswa.

This study aims to determine the influence of Miksupaja media on reading skills of fifth grade students at Kebraon I / 436 SDN Surabaya. The type of research used was quasi-experimental with a non equivalent control group design. The study population was all fifth grade students at SDN Kebraon I / 436 Surabaya. The research sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique. The data used are student learning outcomes through pretest and posttest which are processed with parametric statistics and two independent t-test samples.
The results showed that the average experimental class pretest was 49.04 and the control class was 44.96. Meanwhile, the results of the posttest average scores in the experimental class were 73.33 and the control class was 65.62. Calculation of hypothesis testing obtained the pretest t-test experimental class and control class obtained the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.01 <0.05, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted or there are different differences between the difference between the results of the posttest control class and the experimental class. Or that means there is a significant influence between giving treatment in the form of the use of MIKSUPAJA media to the learning outcomes of Javanese script material to students. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect between the Miksupaja media on student reading skills.
