Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh cooking class terhadap kemampuan sains dan perilaku makan sayur pada anak kelompok bermain di Kecamatan Pesantren Kota Kediri.
Penelitian ini berpendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian quasi eksperimental design dengan desain penelitian non equivalent control group design. Jumlah Sampel 64 anak yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui dua tahap yaitu pretest dan postest. Pada kelompok eksperimen diberikan perlakuan berupa cooking class sedangkan kelompok kontrol tidak. Pemberian treathment dilakukan sebanyak empat kali. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Anova dan Manova dengan bantuan SPSS 25 for Windows Evaluation Version.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada perkembangan kemampuan sains dan perilaku makan sayur antara kelompok eksperimen dengan kontrol dan ada pengaruh cooking class terhadap kemampuan sains dan perilaku makan sayur secara bersama-sama.

This study aims to examine the effect of cooking class on the ability of science and eating behavior of vegetables in play groups in the Pesantren District Kediri City.
This study is quantitative in approach with a quasi experimental design non equivalent control group design. The total sample of 64 children was divided into two groups, the experimental and control groups. Data retrieval is done through two stages, the pretest and posttest. In the experimental group the treatment was given in the form of cooking class while the control group did not. Giving treatment is done four times. Data is collected by observation and documentation techniques. Hypothesis testing uses Anova and Manova test with the help of SPSS 25 for Windows Evaluation Version.
The results showed that there was a significant difference in the development of the ability of science and vegetable eating behavior between the experimental group and the control group and there was an influence of cooking class on the ability of science and the behavior of eating vegetables together.
