Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis dan spasial siswa kelas VI SD, yang sebagian besar disebabkan oleh terbatasnya media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan relevan. Media yang ada belum memadai untuk mendukung pengembangan kedua kemampuan penting tersebut. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan e-modul matematika berbasis kearifan lokal Sidoarjo pada materi luas bangun datar. Pengembangan e-modul matematika berbasis kearifan lokal Sidoarjo secara spesifik ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan spasial siswa, dengan memanfaatkan konteks budaya lokal agar pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) yang mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur, observasi, dokumentasi, validasi ahli, angket respon, serta tes hasil belajar. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari pedoman observasi, lembar validasi (ahli materi, media, dan bahasa), angket respon siswa, serta soal pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif untuk menelaah proses pengembangan produk, serta deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengukur tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan e-modul. Selanjutnya, peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan spasial siswa dianalisis menggunakan uji N-Gain berdasarkan perbandingan skor pretest dan posttest.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan berada dalam kategori sangat layak berdasarkan penilaian ahli, yaitu 88% (materi), 90% (media), dan 95% (bahasa), serta dukungan kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran sebesar 93%. Kepraktisan e-modul dibuktikan melalui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 90,5% dan respon siswa sebesar 95,83% yang termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Efektivitas e-modul tercermin dari ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 100% serta peningkatan signifikan kemampuan berpikir kritis (skor rata-rata pretest 54,00 meningkat menjadi 90,00, N-Gain 0,78, p-value 0,001) dan kemampuan berpikir spasial (skor rata-rata pretest 57,15 meningkat menjadi 92,00, N-Gain 0,83, p-value 0,001). Dengan demikian, e-modul berbasis kearifan lokal Sidoarjo terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan spasial siswa kelas VI SD. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pemanfaatan kearifan lokal secara lebih luas pada pengembangan media pembelajaran matematika lainnya sebagai upaya memperkuat kemampuan berpikir kritis dan spasial siswa.

This research is motivated by the low critical and spatial thinking skills of sixth-grade elementary school students, which is largely caused by the limited availability of innovative and relevant learning media. Existing media are inadequate to support the development of these two important skills. Therefore, the objective of this research is to develop a mathematics e-module based on Sidoarjo local wisdom on the topic of the area of plane figures (luas bangun datar). The development of this Sidoarjo local wisdom-based e-module is specifically aimed at improving students' critical and spatial thinking skills by utilizing the local cultural context to make learning more meaningful.
This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study referring to the ADDIE development model. Data collection techniques included literature study, observation, documentation, expert validation, response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The research instruments consisted of observation guidelines, validation sheets (material, media, and language experts), student response questionnaires, as well as pretest and posttest questions. Data analysis techniques were carried out using qualitative descriptive analysis to examine the product development process, and quantitative descriptive analysis to measure the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the e-module. Furthermore, the improvement in students' critical and spatial thinking skills was analyzed using the N-Gain test based on the comparison of pretest and posttest scores.
The results showed that the developed e-module fell into the "very feasible" (sangat layak) category based on expert assessment, specifically 88% (material), 90% (media), and 95% (language), as well as a supporting learning device feasibility of 93%. The practicality of the e-module was evidenced by a learning implementation rate of 90.5% and student responses of 95.83%, which were in the "very practical" category. The effectiveness of the e-module was reflected in student learning mastery of 100%, as well as a significant increase in critical thinking skills (average pretest score 54.00 increased to 90.00, N-Gain 0.78, p-value 0.001) and spatial thinking skills (average pretest score 57.15 increased to 92.00, N-Gain 0.83, p-value 0.001). Thus, the Sidoarjo local wisdom-based e-module is proven effective in improving the critical and spatial thinking skills of sixth-grade elementary school students. This study recommends the wider utilization of local wisdom in the development of other mathematics learning media as an effort to strengthen students' critical and spatial thinking skills.
