CERITA FABELSEBAGAI PEMANTIK PROJECT BASED LEARNING MATERI MENGGAMBAR KOMIK DI SMPN 1 SIDOARJO
FABLE STORIES AS A TRIGGER FOR PROJECT BASED LEARNING COMIC DRAWING MATERIAL AT SMPN 1 SIDOARJO
Peserta didik memiliki keterbatasan pengetahuan dan wawasan terhadap cara dan langkah-langkah menggambar komik secara efisien yang menjadikan kendala dalam menyelesaikan tugas praktik menggambar komik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan proses, hasil karya, respon guru dan peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran cerita fabel sebagai pemantik project based learning materi menggambar komik di SMPN 1 Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang dijabarkan secara deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VIII-E dengan jumlah 31 peserta. Proses pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dengan guru seni budaya, pembagian angket, serta dokumentasi kegiatan penelitian. Data dianalisis dengan mereduksi data, penyajian data, hingga penarikan kesimpulan. Proses pembelajaran project based learning menggambar komik memerlukan tiga kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian dilihat dari penilaian keterampilan dan penilaian produk peserta didik secara berkelompok. Perolehan nilai keterampilan yang didapat dengan rata-rata 81 dan nilai rata-rata produk kelompok yaitu 83. Berdasarkan pada penilaian yang telah disebutkan bahwa terdapat tiga kategori yaitu sangat baik, baik dan cukup baik. Sedangkan, respon guru dan peserta didik dengan prosentase rata-rata 77,6% yang menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran ini sangat efisien dan menyenangkan serta dapat menambah wawasan baru.

Students have limited knowledge and insight into the ways and steps of drawing comics efficiently which makes it an obstacle in completing the practical task of drawing comics. The purpose of this study is to describe the process, work results, teacher and student responses to learning fable stories as a project-based learning trigger for comic drawing material at SMPN 1 Sidoarjo. This research uses qualitative research methods that are described descriptively. The research subjects were students of class VIII-E with a total of 31 participants. The process of collecting data through observation, interviews with cultural arts teachers, distribution of questionnaires, and documentation of research activities. Data were analyzed by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The learning process of project-based learning to draw comics requires three meetings. The results of the study are seen from the skills assessment and product assessment of students in groups. The acquisition of skills scores obtained with an average of 81 and the average value of group products is 83. Based on the assessment that has been mentioned, there are three categories, namely very good, good and good enough. Meanwhile, the response of teachers and students with an average percentage of 77.6% which states that this learning is very efficient and fun and can add new insights.
