Evaluation of the Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMK Yapalis Krian

Kurikulum Merdeka sebagai kurikulum baru tentu menjadi tantangan baru bagi sekolah dan guru. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan peninjauan atau evaluasi pada implementasi kurikulum tersebut di sekolah, termasuk di SMK Yapalis Krian. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian evaluasi dengan metode kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan model evaluasi CIPP, yang mencakup empat aspek evaluasi, yaitu context, input, process, dan product. Hasil evaluasi dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: Evaluasi Konteks: Kepala sekolah dan guru SMK Yapalis Krian telah menerima pembekalan yang cukup terkait dengan kurikulum merdeka dan Tujuan operasional satuan pendidikan dan program keahlian SMK Yapalis Krian telah disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan industri. Evaluasi Input: SMK Yapalis Krian telah merancang strategi dan bekerja sama dengan industri untuk mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Selain itu, sekolah juga telah menambah sarana dan prasarana yang diperlukan. Evaluasi Proses: Pengorganisasian pembelajaran pada implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan Keputusan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Nomor 262/M/20. Pembelajaran intrakurikuler yang berpusat pada peserta didik di SMK Yapalis Krian tidak dapat dianalisis sepenuhnya. Evaluasi Produk: Hasil implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka belum dapat dilihat secara komprehensif karena memerlukan penilaian yang lebih mendalam.

As a new curriculum, the Merdeka Curriculum, presents new challenges for schools and teachers. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a review or evaluation of the curriculum implementation in schools, including at SMK Yapalis Krian. The research conducted is an evaluation research using qualitative methods. This study utilizes the CIPP evaluation model, which encompasses four evaluation aspects: context, input, process, and product. The evaluation results from this research are as follows: Context Evaluation: The principal and teachers at SMK Yapalis Krian have received sufficient preparation regarding the Merdeka curriculum, and the operational objectives of the educational unit and vocational programs at SMK Yapalis Krian have been aligned with industry needs. Input Evaluation: SMK Yapalis Krian has designed strategies and collaborated with industries to support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. Additionally, the school has provided the necessary facilities and infrastructure. Process Evaluation: The organization of learning in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum is not fully in line with the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 262/M/20. The student-centered intracurricular learning in SMK Yapalis Krian cannot be fully analyzed. Product Evaluation: The comprehensive assessment of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum is yet to be determined as it requires further in-depth assessment.
