CORRELATION OF TEACHER UNDERSTANDING AND TEACHER READINESS IN THE SOCIETY 5.0 ERA ON THE PERFORMANCE OF STATE VOCATIONAL SCHOOL TEACHERS IN THE CITY OF SURABAYA.
Penelitian ini dilakukan guna melakukan eksplorasi keterkaitan antara seberapa baik pemahaman dengan kesiapan guru menghadapi Society 5.0 dan kinerja mereka di Sekolah Kejuruan Negeri di Surabaya. Analisis penelitian dilakukan dengan regresi yang menggunakan SPSS 25. Data melalui Angket yang diisi oleh tenaga pendidik. Penelitian difokuskan kepada guru SMK Negeri di Surabaya, dengan memilih sampel sebanyak 100 guru produktif untuk penelitian. Hasil riset mengungkap terdapat hubungan Pemahaman Guru dengan Kinerja Guru. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,008 yang kurang dari 0,05. Demikian pula Kesiapan Guru di Era Society 5.0 juga berkorelasi dengan Kinerja Guru, dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,017, juga berada di bawah 0,05. Lebih lanjut, pengujian simultan menunjukkan bahwa Pemahaman Guru dan Kesiapan Guru berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Guru, dengan uji F menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000, yaitu kurang dari 0,05 dan nilai Fhitung 45,009 > Ftabel 3,09. Nilai R sebesar 0,694 menunjukkan korelasi yang kuat antara variabel-variabel tersebut. Hal itu, diartikan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara pemahaman dan kesiapan guru terhadap Era Society 5.0. Semakin tinggi tingkat Pemahaman dan Kesiapan Guru tentang Society 5.0, semakin tinggi Kinerja Guru di SMK Negeri Kota Surabaya. Sebaliknya, rendahnya tingkat pemahaman dan kesiapan guru menyebabkan menurunnya kinerja guru. Hal ini menyoroti peran pemahaman dan kesiapan guru menghadapi Era Society 5.0 sebagai faktor kunci yang mempengaruhi kinerja mereka. Implikasi dari penelitian yaitu menunjukkan perlunya meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesiapan guru melalui beragam inisiatif pelatihan dan pengembangan. Pendekatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di SMK Negeri di Surabaya.
This research was conducted to explore the relationship between how well teachers understand and are prepared to face Society 5.0 and their performance at State Vocational Schools in Surabaya. Research analysis was carried out using regression using SPSS 25. Data via questionnaire filled out by teaching staff. Research focused on State Vocational School teachers in Surabaya, by selecting a sample of 100 productive teachers for research. Research results reveal that there is a relationship between Teacher Understanding and Teacher Performance. This is proven by the results of a significance value of 0.008 which is less than 0.05. Likewise, Teacher Readiness in the Society 5.0 Era also correlates with Teacher Performance, with a significance value of 0.017, also below 0.05. Furthermore, simultaneous testing shows that Teacher Understanding and Teacher Readiness have a significant effect on Teacher Performance, with the F test showing a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05 and an Fcount value of 45.009 > Ftable 3.09. The R value of 0.694 indicates a strong correlation between these variables. This means that there is a positive relationship between teachers' understanding and readiness for the Era of Society 5.0. The higher the level of Teacher Understanding and Readiness regarding Society 5.0, the higher the Teacher Performance at State Vocational Schools in Surabaya City. On the other hand, low levels of teacher understanding and readiness cause a decline in teacher performance. This highlights the role of teachers' understanding and readiness to face the Era of Society 5.0 as a key factor influencing their performance. The implications of the research show the need to increase teacher understanding and readiness through various training and development initiatives. This approach is expected to improve teacher performance and improve the quality of education at State Vocational Schools in Surabaya
