EVALUATION OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECT BASED ON LEARNING IN PRACTICUM COURSES OF GASOLINE MOTOR TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS IN THE PANDEMI OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT 2019 UNESA
Virus corona atau covid 19 memberikan dampak yang buruk bagi masyarakat Indonesia, tak hanya pada sektor kesehatan masyarakat, virus corona juga menimbulkan dampak buruk pada sektor perekonomian, social, wisata, pangan, manufaktur, transpotasi serta pendidikan. Sehingga pemerintah mengeluarkan kebijakan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (psbb) hingga di tahun ini (2021) lebih di perketat dengan kebijakan Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat berbasis mikro (ppkm) dikarenakan virus corona atau covid 19 terus menyebar hingga banyak memakan korban jiwa. Covid-19 telah memberikan problem tersendiri bagi lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia, Mendikbud menghimbau agar semua lembaga pendidikan tidak melakukan proses belajar mengajar secara langsung atau tatap muka, melainkan harus dilakukan secara tidak langsung atau jarak jauh. Dengan adanya surat edaran dari kemendikbud mengenai pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring, hal tersebut tentu berlawanan dengan pembelajaran yang harus dilakukan dengan bertatap muka langsung seperti pembelajaran praktikum untuk jurusan teknik, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembelajaran praktikum berbasis project based learning saat masa pandemi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan didukung studi literatur. Sumber data penelitian yaitu data diambil dari observasi dan wawancara dalam bentuk informasi dan di ambil kesimpulannya yang di dapat dari hasil penelitian yang sesuai harapan : 1)peserta didik tetap antusias dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran tatap muka secara terbatas dan tidak terbebani walaupun dalam masa pandemic ,2) penerapan project based learning masih bisa dilakukan atau di terapkan dengan baik , sehingga harapan dalam penerapan projet based learning bisa di capai.
The corona virus or covid 19 has a bad impact on the people of Indonesia, not only in the public health sector, the corona virus also has a bad impact on the economic, social, tourism, food, manufacturing, transportation and education sectors. So that the government issued a policy of Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) until this year (2021) it was further tightened with the policy of Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat berbasis mikro (PPKM) because the corona virus or covid 19 continued to spread, resulting in many casualties. Covid-19 has given its own problems for educational institutions in Indonesia, the Minister of Education and Culture urges all educational institutions not to carry out the teaching and learning process directly or face to face, but must be done indirectly or remotely. With a circular from the Ministry of Education and Culture regarding online learning, this is certainly contrary to learning that must be done face-to-face such as practical learning for engineering majors, so this study aims to find out how the project-based learning practicum learning process is during the pandemic. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method, supported by a literature study. Sources of research data are data taken from observations and interviews in the form of information and conclusions are drawn from research results that are as expected: 1) students remain enthusiastic in carrying out face-to-face learning processes in a limited manner and are not burdened even during a pandemic,2 ) the application of project based learning can still be done or implemented properly, so that expectations in the application of project based learning can be achieved.
