Development Of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) Based E-book to Train Problem Solving Skill in Plant Anatomic Structure Materials
Problem solving skills are one of the skills needed by students to apply 21st century skills and skills that students must possess in order to be able to live life in society. 21st century skills will be carried out well if the learning resources used support and relate to the environment and real life. In biology, especially the anatomical structure of plants, this can be realized with an E-book that can train students' problem solving skills. This study aims to develop an E-book on the structure of plant anatomy based on PjBL (Project Based Learning) to train students' problem solving skills. The method used in this research is the 4D method (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The trial phase was limited to 50 students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Gresik class XI MIPA I and XI MIPA III. E-book validation results are reviewed from the feasibility of content, presentation, and linguistics by three expert lecturers, validation score (average 3.83) is very valid category, student learning outcome score (N-gain is 0.38 category) indicator completeness correlation test 0.003, r = 0.982 and the percentage of student response questionnaires is 98.5%. Based on this description, it can be concluded that the E-book on the structure of plant anatomy based on Project Based Learning to train students' problem solving skills is feasible.
