KETERAMPILAN BINA DIRI BERMEDIA BOOKLET KEBERSIHAN DIRI SAAT MENSTRUASI SISWA TUNAGRAHITA RINGAN
SELF-DEVELOPMENT SKILLS IN THE MEDIA OF PERSONAL HYGIENE BOOKLET DURING MENSTRUATION OF MILD MENTAL RETARDATION STUDENT
Siswa tunagrahita mempunyai tingkat kemampuan intelektual rendah yang menyebabkan kurang mampu dalam melakukan aktivitas secara mandiri dan cenderung membutuhkan bantuan dari orang lain dan membutuhkan media khususnya booklet dalam aktivitas sehari-hari. Hal tersebut berdampak pada saat siswa tunagrahita pubertas yang mengalami masa menstruasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan bina diri bermedia booklet kebersihan diri saat menstruasi siswa tunagrahita ringan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literatur riview. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan hasil riview 11 jurnal yang berkaitan dengan menstruasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil kajian tersebut bahwa keterampilan bina diri bermedia booklet kebersihan diri saat menstruasi siswa tunagrahita ringan diperoleh data tatacara tahapan menstruasi antara lain menggunakan pembalut, mengganti pembalut, membuang pembalut, membersihkan diri saat menstruasi. Simpulan keterampilan bina diri bermedia booklet kebersihan diri saat menstruasi siswa tunagrahita ringan dengan cara pendampingan menjadikan kemandirian siswa tunagrahita ringan sangat dibutuhkan untuk kedepannya. Mentally retarded students have a low level of intellectual ability which causes them to be less able to carry out activities independently and tend to need help from others and require media, especially booklets in daily activities. This has an impact on when students with mental retardation go through puberty. The purpose of this study was to describe self-development skills with the media of personal hygiene booklets during menstruation for mild mentally retarded students. This study uses the literature review method. The data collection technique used the results of a review of 11 journals related to menstruation. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative. The results of the study that self-development skills using personal hygiene booklets during menstruation for mild mentally retarded students obtained data on the procedures for the stages of menstruation, including using sanitary napkins, changing sanitary napkins, discarding sanitary napkins, and cleaning themselves during menstruation. The conclusion of self-development skills with the media of personal hygiene booklets during menstruation for mild mentally retarded students by way of mentoring makes the independence of mild mentally retarded students very much needed in the future.
