PENGARUH PRAKTIK KERJA INDUSTRI, INFORMASI DUNIA KERJA DAN STATUS SOSIAL EKONOMI ORANG TUA TERHADAP KESIAPAN KERJA SISWA KELAS XII JURUSAN OTOMATISASI TATA KELOLA PERKANTORAN SMKN 2 BUDURAN
THE INFLUENCE OF INDUSTRIAL WORK PRACTICE, WORKING WORLD INFORMATION AND PARENTS' SOCIO-ECONOMIC STATUS ON WORK READINESS OF OFFICE ADMINISTRATION STUDENTS' AT SMKN 2 BUDURAN
Kesiapan kerja siswa merupakan faktor krusial dalam menghadapi pasar kerja yang semakin kompetitif. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak dari praktik kerja industri, informasi dunia kerja dan status sosial orang tua terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII Jurusan OTKP SMKN 2 Buduran Tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Jumlah siswa yang dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 74 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Teknik analisis yang dipergunakan dalam studi ini meliputi Analisis Statistik Deskriptif, Uji Asumsi Klasik, Uji Koefisien Determinasi, Uji Regresi Linear Berganda serta Uji Hipotesis dengan pengujian menggunakan SPSS IBM 25. Studi ini menghasilkan data bahwa praktik kerja industri dan informasi dunia kerja secara parsial berpengaruh positif terhadap kesiapan kerja, sedangkan status sosial ekonomi orang tua tidak berpengaruh terhadap kesiapan kerja. Sementara itu, praktik kerja industri, informasi dunia kerja dan status sosial ekonomi orang tua secara simultan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kesiapan kerja. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam bagi para stakeholder, termasuk sekolah, industri dan pemerintah dalam merancang program pendidikan dan pelatihan yang lebih efektif dan inklusif untuk menghadapi dinamika pasar kerja yang semakin kompetitif.

Student's work readiness plays a vital role in navigating a job market that is progressively becoming more competitive. The study investigates the impact of industrial work practices, access to job market information, and parents’ social status on the job readiness of graduating students (Grade 12) majoring in Office Administration and Business Management (OTKP) at SMKN 2 Buduran for the academic year 2023/2024. A purposive sampling technique was used, and the number of students sampled in this study was 74, using a saturated sampling technique. The analytical framework employed a combination of Descriptive Statistical Analysis, Classical Assumption Test, Coefficient of Determination Analysis, Multiple Linear Regression Test, and Hypothesis Test conducted with the aid of SPSS IBM 25 software. The findings reveal that industrial work practices and access to job market information demonstrably exert a statistically significant positive influence on job readiness, whereas parent’s social status does not appear to significantly impact on job readiness. Moreover, the analysis suggests that the interaction between industrial work practices, access to job market information, and parents’ social status also contribute positively on job readiness. The findings of this research are anticipated to offer a more comprehensive insight to stakeholders such as educational institutions, industries, and government, enabling them to develop education and training that are both more efficient and inclusive, better equipped to address the challenges of a rapidly evolving and competitive job market.
