This study was initiated by the limited understanding of students in Tuban Regency regarding their local cultural heritage, particularly the traditional performing art of Sandur. The scarcity of learning resources and instructional media that highlight Sandur as a form of local art became the main impetus for the researcher to develop an educational medium integrating Sandur into the broader context of Indonesia’s cultural diversity. Consequently, this research aims to design and produce an interactive e-module embedding the elements of Sandur as part of the Cultural Diversity curriculum for fifth-grade elementary school students.
The research followed the Research and Development (R&D) approach, utilizing the ADDIE model, which includes five key phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The focus of this study is threefold: (1) to describe the stages involved in the development process of the e-module, (2) to assess the feasibility of the e-module in terms of both content and media components, and (3) to measure the module’s effectiveness in enhancing students’ learning outcomes.
Validation results showed that the media received a score of 57 out of 75, yielding a percentage of 76%, which indicates a "fairly valid" category. Meanwhile, the content validation obtained a score of 39 out of 45 or 97.5%, categorized as "valid." The practicality of the e-module was confirmed through positive responses from both teachers and students. Effectiveness testing using the N-Gain analysis demonstrated a significant improvement in learning outcomes. The normality test yielded a significance value greater than 0.05, indicating that the data were normally distributed. Homogeneity testing revealed equal variance (Sig. 0.497), and the t-test showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05). Thus, the Sandur-based Pancasila Education e-module is proven to be a valid, practical, and effective learning medium.
