Development of Case Study-Based Marketing Modules on Segmenting, Targeting, and Positioning Class X Online Business and Marketing Vocational Schools.
This research aims to produce a product in the form of a Case Study Based Marketing Module on Strategy Material Segmenting, Targeting, and Positioning for class X BDP SMK Negeri 1 Bangkalan. The problem formulated in this study is how feasibility, practicality, student responses and the effectiveness of the modules that have been developed. This type of research uses the 4D development model (Define, design, develop, and disseminate) from Thiagarajan. Data collection techniques are using study sheets, validation sheets, practicality sheets, student response sheets and questions pretest and posttest to measure the effectiveness of the module which is analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The trial design was carried out using Non Equivalent Control Design namely comparing the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and the control class with 20 students each.
The results showed: 1) The validity of the module obtained an average score of 88.6%, categorized as very feasible; 2) Practicality The module gets an average score of 86.5% in the very practical category; 3) The response of students to the module obtained an average score of 84.1% which was categorized as very good; 4) The effectiveness of the module includes normality tests, independent sample tests, and gain score it is known that the data is normally distributed, there are differences in learning outcomes before and after the treatment is applied in the form of modules, and the modules are quite effective for increasing learning outcomes. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the developed case study-based module is feasible, practical, gets a positive response, and is effective for use in learning activities as teaching materials.
