This study
aims to analyze: 1) The influence of parents 'socio-economic status on
students' behavior. (2) Effect of economic education in the family on student
behavior. (3) The influence of peer groups on the economic behavior of students
and (4) The influence of parents' socio-economic status, economic education in
families, and peer groups on the economic behavior of State Madrasah Aliyah
(MAN) students in Jombang City.
This research
is quantitative research. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and
documentation. The population of this study were students of class XI MAN 1, 8,
3 and 4 in Jombang City. The sample was determined using random sampling with a
total sample of 264 students. Data analysis was performed by multiple linear
regression techniques.
Based on the results
of data analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that (1) the
socio-economic status of parents influences the economic behavior of students.
(2) Economic education in the family affects the economic behavior of students.
(3) Peer groups influence the economic behavior of students and (4) The
socio-economic status of parents, economic education in families, and peer
groups simultaneously influences the economic behavior of State Madrasah Aliyah
(MAN) students in Jombang City.
